I think the boy Doughty is currently ahead of Aiden on merit.
You mean ...... "I think the boy Doughty is currently ahead of Aiden on memory."
You're judging McGeady on how you remember him playing 3 months ago - rusty and a long way from match fitness, having been shut out at Sunderland for a long period.
Now it's a level playing field. Nobody has played for 3 months. It'll be like the first week of pre-season training. If players want to be starting, then they need to earn their place in the team. There's a lot of competition.
And McGeady will be amongst those trying to impress to earn a new contract, here or elsewhere.
EVERY player that pulls on the Red n White, the coaching staff, management, team of Bows,Jacko, the back room staff, the furloughed staff us long suffering fans...not just one Hero,we can all be Heroes...let’s all get behind the ones that wanna be here...screw the rest
We’re really going to find out about Lee and the management teams skill at this level, they can’t ask for the Charlton crowd to be the 12th man, hope they’ve used the time off to plan properly.
