My approach to this will be to pay the tenner on Now TV then bet enough to win a tenner on a Millwall win. If that doesnt happen, it will be worth the cash to see us gain at least a point.
Sounded to me like they've just moved the Birmingham game forward a day, didn't mention sky coverage? (based on Paulie's article)
Why would it be on at 6pm if not on Sky
I didn't know specific times meant guaranteed TV coverage.
The article quoted states:
As a result of the latest TV selections, the following fixtures have been rearranged:
Wednesday 8 July - Birmingham City v Swansea City - 18:00
Wednesday 8 July - Sheffield Wednesday v Preston North End - 19:45
Sunday 12 July - Swansea City v Leeds United - 15:00 Sunday 12 July - Stoke City v Birmingham City - 15:00
Wednesday 15 July - Nottingham Forest v Swansea - 18:00 Wednesday 15 July - Birmingham City v Charlton Athletic - 18:00 Wednesday 15 July - Leeds United v Barnsley - 19:45 Wednesday 15 July - Bristol City v Stoke City
Rearranged, yes. Rearranged for TV coverage also... no?
Maybe it's been brought forward to a 6pm start so that the match can be finished in natural daylight?
Otherwise the floodlights have to be switched on from the start which would cost Brum a few bob in the leccy bill which, given the fun and games they've had with the EFL recently over their finances ...
Of course, if you look at the two matches underneath ours the reasons are obvious:
1 - everybody involved in our match wants to watch Leeds; 2 - it means @bobmunro gets to watch the Stoke match as well
Comments
Charlton on SKY combined with playing Millwall and they might as well just give the latter the points
I am a little surprised seeing that recent Charlton v Millwall fixtures on SKY have been tragically boring
We can do this
we always lose on Sky
Two negatives usually make a positive right?
Saint Christopher?
Or Satan Taylor?
Therefore our fixtures are now:
Hull - Away - Saturday 20th June - 3pm
QPR - Home - Saturday 27th June - 3pm
Cardiff - Away - Tuesday 30th June - 7:45pm
Millwall - Home - Friday 3rd July - 8:15pm (Sky Sports)
Reading - Home - Saturday 11th July - 3pm
Birmingham - Away - Wednesday 15th July - 6pm (Sky Sports)
Wigan - Home - Saturday 18th July - 3pm
Leeds - Away - Wednesday 22nd July - TBC

This says 20.15 as well
