If they're staying in hotels then I can't see any travel issue at play here.

If they're worried about the heat, why don't they just kick off at 10 or 10.30 like most Sunday League teams.?

Don't they consider that Golfie has shopping to do?

I blame Asda, fancy only opening on a Saturday ….
Some of us work mon - fri  old bean.
What's wrong with home deliveries? They're bookable until 11.00pm. Been a godsend during the lockdown, not sure we'll ever resort to traipsing round a supermarket again.

Good for Asia and Australia, terrible for west coast USA/Canada
Or Norfolk, where you're 30 years behind  ;)

No chance since @i_b_b_o_r_g got his P45 😉.

some of us work Monday to Friday AND get their parents shopping every week. If only there were someone else to help out occasionally ….
This is the perfect opportunity to say thank-you for doing all that you've been doing. I wish that I could do it too and share the load. You've been a true star and they and I really appreciate it.
  • I was about to suggest that maybe the sibling bickering could go to your respective inboxes, but it's worth it for @jimmymelrose's last comment.

Depending on where you are, can be difficult to get a slot, and the substitutions can be interesting, but personally, the pros outweigh the cons.

It was difficult at first when priority was quite rightly given to the vulnerable but we got through that and as the supermarkets geared up it's been plain sailing. Mind you you have to persevere with the booking slots and I made it my personal crusade much to Mrs Chaser's approval. Anyway enough of supermarket sweep otherwise I'll have a mod on my case for hijacking the thread  😉.
  • I imagine people that use home deliveries also use an app to get served at the bar. Not for me, unless you are vulnerable/ can’t go to a supermarket of course

    What's an app? 😉

Yay, that's a 4:30am local kick off time here.

Going to email Valley Pass about full matches after the fact.
As you will be following the game so much earlier just make sure to keep the result to yourself until after it has finished here...

Thanks......I wasn't going to respond in any case.
  • Does this mean we won't have another game kick off at 3pm on a Saturday?

He’s not watching it till Sunday , so I suggest he steers clear of here
  • The 12:30 kick off most definitely helps Wigan out more than it does us, considering they’re playing Hull at home on the Tuesday evening beforehand at 6pm, and we’re away at Birmingham on the Wednesday. Would’ve preferred it to have been moved to a later kick off if anything.

The 12:30 kick off for QPR this Saturday probably helps us out a little more considering we’re away at Cardiff on the Tuesday following.

problem with 12.30 kick off it will kill the atmosphere
Not if the pubs open early.
  • Pratley will have to have his chicken & pasta for breakfast.
