Huge result. Hopefully if results go our way it could be a pivotal weekend. Do we want a Stoke Boro draw or a Stoke win? I'm inclined to go for a Stoke win.
Good performance overall, we’ve looked sharper, fitter, and more motivated than both Hull and QPR which is encouraging. No doubt it’ll even out as teams get match fit, but we’ve made the most of that potential advantage so far with a massive 6 pts from 6 available.
Got to start converting more chances though. We were a bit wasteful last week, but even more so this week. Too many final balls not quite accurate enough and Deji, Morgan and Chuks (twice) turned down chances to shoot when given clear sights on goal.
Table looks much better right now though so you’ve got to be happy as an Addick tonight. Luton dragging themselves back into the reckoning. Hopefully the remaining fixtures from this round go our way. Need to keep ploughing on as it’s firmly in our own hands now. Two more wins might be enough.
Great result. Hull and QPR were both must wins. If we could even pick up a couple of points from the next 3 it would be very good before a few more winnable games to hopefully see us over the line.
This division is mental though, the turn around in form of Luton, Barnsley and Wigan for example. The likes of Hull, Boro, Wednesday and Huddersfield must be sweating big time . Hopefully today's results generally go our way and we have some space heading into 3 tough, tough games.
Brilliant. Taking 6 points from our first two games is a real relief. I don't think we'll get two games easier in our final run so it's really important we got these out of the way positively. I think we need another 7 points at least, so we've got to be looking for two more wins in there.
The thing that gets me this year is that we can just about guarantee that every week at least one of the teams around us is going to get a win. It's ridiculous, no-one will die. I don't even trust Hull to lay down the way things are going. Wigan are probably going to get into the bloody Play-Offs. I really hope 52 points will be enough but we can't afford to rest of our laurels and write any games off. Hopefully we'll turn up against Cardiff, the strikers will start scoring and we'll show them who we are.
Great performance all round, couple of important saves from Dillion, QPR much better than Hull, and we got the result I predicted on the Match Preview.....now onto 2 very tough games, but we have a foundation now. Lets hope results (except Luton's which is already in) go for us this afternoon.
Another resolute performance, and another great result.
We were bright and
alert straight from the kick-off: rapid one-touch passes and players aware of
the others’ positions. Were a bit ragged at the start of second
half, but soon regained composure. Carved several good chances, one
of which Aneke fluffed late in the game.
Defence was solid; Morgan and Pratley played well. We look fit, too; by
contrast QPR were blowing out of their arses after 75 minutes.
Despite having an astonishing 65 per cent of possession, they rarely
threatened our goal. We had 12 shots to their six; 10 corners to
their one.
And this time we
were tough enough to see out the game without a last-minute
breakdown.
One of the cardboard
cut-outs looks disturbingly like a very young Martin Clunes.
Otherwise, great stuff. We are well on the way to ensuring
Championship football again next season.
Another fantastic win. Six things have become evident to me:
(1) We do have enough depth to our squad even without Taylor, Solly or Davis to win games
(2) LB's team selection has been superb. Many of us frowned when we saw the side picked against Hull but it has been a master stroke
(3) Playing behind closed doors suits us. A lot of teams don't win at home in such situations simply because home teams still feel that they need to take the game to the opposition. We are happy to concede possession and have had better results all season doing so
(4) The break probably did us a lot of good. A chance to re-group and focus on what we have to do. This is the first time since August that we have had back to back wins and we did that on two occasions then and I don't think that that is a coincidence
(5) We are not safe by any stretch and have a lot of difficult games coming up. But wins do breed confidence and we couldn't have wished for a better return
(6) Our wins continue to serve to embarrass the EFL for their decision to allow a vote that enabled League 1 and League 2 to be decided by PPG

Was a bad Father for the last 10mins as can smell he's done a shit and have made him wait before cleaning him up
Proper MOTM display, zero complaints from him
A draw would do next week for me, a win and we really can start to believe.

I would say that 8 teams are battling to avoid the drop, that's everyone from 17th (us currently) downwards
Two more wins should do it. Maybe less.
what a signing he’s been
There's more of em... No there's not thank fuck.
Great 3 points. We will have to show our metal this week but you have got to love Bows and the squad (shirkers excepted).
Well done lads.
100% win rate when he attends and been to as many games as Duchatelet.
Clearly his inspired leadership has lifted Bowyer and the players.
Meanwhile, an important win. Next few look much harder on paper but we have a big squad now and are keeping clean sheets.
Dread losing Pearce

Good result for us, as Barnsley are now 7 points behind us AND it stops Millwall getting momentum
