Response is good. Why LB has persisted with Oshi at left back (he is competent at centre half) I have absolutely no idea

10' Charlton offering a few threats now - Josh Cullen's corner is dealt with, but the hosts keep the ball alive and work it back out to the right where he crosses again - captain Jason Pearce heads over, under pressure. #CHAvREA | 0-1

When did it become the case that penalty decisions hinged entirely on there being "contact"?

There is "contact" all over the pitch all the time without players throwing themselves to the floor or fouls being given. But if you make contact with someone in the area that seems to be to only thing people worry about not, it if it was actually a foul or not.

    Oshilaja again.
    League one carthorse
But the guy he replaced is worse.  Doughty should be playing full back
This. Least Doughty has a left foot & can cross.
Can he - Can do it occasionally but still question marks

Bowyer likes Doughty but he doesn’t trust putting Doughty and Morgan down the left side together. They would be attacking down that side of the pitch all day long.

13' Reading lose possession in the Charlton half, but press together and win the ball back quickly... Blackett fires over an early cross from deep which had the defence stretched. But Charlton manage to clear. #CHAvREA | 0-1

Jesus wept, that's so weak from Bonne

Attempt missed. Yakou Meite (Reading) header from the right side of the six yard box misses to the right. Assisted by John Swift.

Feels little chance us getting a penalty. We hardly do anything in the box.

Good defending from Oshilaja that time

16' is buzzing around the left flank, trying to make things happen. Plays a one-two with Blackett - overhits the cross in the end but positive play from the teenager. #CHAvREA | 0-1

I think Reading look the better team and are up for it. That pen has killed it, they are just playing counter

Still can’t believe mcgeady plays ahead of Williams. Best player in the squad sits in the bench every week. Ffs.

Pratley having one of those games where he just gets in the way

Mcgeady looks decent today. Morgan doing well as usual.

What does Deji offer, seriously? Just stunts every attack down that left hand side.

Good work from Chuks to muscle a Reading defender off the ball, but his pass doesn't quite reach Bonne.

Aneke causing problems. Almost puts Bonne through on goal but a last ditch interception stops him.

I want to know what purrington has done to not even have a sniff at starting!

Oshilaja looks so out of his depth, his positioning is awful and reading have clearly identified him (rightfully) as a weakness!

Lose today, and I’d put money on us not picking another win up this season

God the camera work today is even worse than usual from iFollow

Oshi doing my head in. Great block on Puscas saving a 0-2 and then wastes the ball in a good attacking position down the left. Arghhhh

If Bonne was bit more canny, he'd have got his body between defender and ball direction...probably got a foul.

Williams on at half time please Lee! Alfie down that left too
