  • Our only hope of a win was a 1-0 unfortunately
  • Someone needs to tell the players they are in massive massive trouble if we lose. They need to fight for every tackle. Every ball.
  • They have a lot of pace, surely perfect game for Doughty
  • Only one team look like scoring and they're not wearing red.
  • Leite header down but easy save for Philips
  • Why do we play Oshi when we have 2 very good left backs on the bench who are both left footed . Oshi shows his player inside because he wants to tackle with his right foot , so always defending on the wrong side which led to the penalty
  • Unpopular opinion but I think Deji has actually been responsible for our best moments of defensive play so far. Problem is that he is prone to the odd glaring mistake.
Some of those mistakes very odd indeed.
  • 22' Chance for a second for Reading... wins a corner on the right - sends it in with purpose, rises high, but heads into the arms of the grateful goalie. #CHAvREA | 0-1
  • Anyone else listening to BBC radio Berkshire? Some snippets:

Reading are playing like a top 6 team at the moment
    We’re loooking good, creating chances
Charlton can’t live with Reading at the moment.

Attempt saved. Yakou Meite (Reading) header from the centre of the box is saved in the top centre of the goal. Assisted by John Swift with a cross.

  • Why Mc Geady?
  • 24' Aneke heads over from Oshilaja's cross and the ref calls for the first drinks break.

  • Excellent cross from Oshilaja with his weaker foot but Chuks can’t keep the header under the bar.
  • Good cross in from Deji, but Chuks got under the header. Now drinks break
  • Reading running rings round us, Have to say Bowyer has started with the wrong team.

Bloody hell what a load of bullshit

Reading really are nothing special in this game

Sounds like a certain Naby Sarr

Williams on at half time please Lee! Alfie down that left too
    Make those subs now!
  • Surrendering possession far too cheaply at the moment. Passing to marked players. No Williams or Field on the team and not enough players who know how to look after the ball.

  • One thing I thought I’d never read on a match thread is that Purrington is “a very good player” and multiple people asking for him to play.

Before lockdown he was getting slaughtered on this forum.
  • nice cross by Oshi down the left after patient build up, Aneke gets under it. Drinks break - sort it out!
  • Excellent cross from Oshilaja with his weaker foot but Chuks can’t keep the header under the bar.
This sums it up for me. He shouldn't even be on that side, let alone starting every match.
  • We're getting in a few crosses, but to be honest we don't look like scoring from them. Meat and drink for Morrison
  • I'll take a point now as you can see why Reading hit 5 against Luton... They are clearly not on the beach!

they're not watching the same game as me
  • Drinks break ...

    Too much possession ...
  • Doughty will be saved for last 30mins kid has pace to burn.

Without the penalty we are on top and reading are counter attacking.

  • Morgan is our most creative player - let’s hope he gets 90 minutes today
  • McGeady 2 - absolute waste of space.

    Just getting this in now
