You can just imagine the fixture list for next season: one of the first games after fans allowed back into grounds will be a trip to the Rusty Toolbox.
At the final whistle the local constabulary will announce that there's been a localised COVID outbreak in the away end and keep all the Charlton fans in lockdown for seven days, a new record for being trapped in that hell-hole.

Very optimistic that we won't be two leagues below Millwall next season
If it is 50% of capacity, I wonder how they will work that out in terms of which season ticket holders can go to which games, and if you've paid for an expensive ticket but get moved to a cheaper area of the ground to enforce social distancing?
well straight off you can take away 3000 for the away end, a test was carried out at the emirates bearing in mind its 65k capacity, with 1m distancing in place 17,386 spectators would be permitted.
Who are you going to listen to? Patrick Vallance says there are no grounds to change where we work and Chris Witty is uneasy about changes from current protocols Football matches in October? It's just crowd pleasing spin - a simple enough populist notion but far enough into the future to be hopelessly vapid. Boris says a lot of things Most of them straight from despicable Dom's agenda Some of them out of the dusty sheltered detached recesses of his overeducated noggin Pay attention to Boris only to stay up to date on his version of reality Where public health and important day to day real life stuff is concerned check the facts with any competent source then make up your own mind - Boris knows the square root of fuck all that's useful and cares even less. He's a gob on a stick spouting bilge at the behest of a cynical corrupt elitist bunch of scum.
Wales (friendly) Belgium and Denmark in nations league. Can imagine FA will push hard to try and get these with crowds if government policy hasn’t changed.

No tory politician gives a shit about anyone apart from the people putting the money in their pocket. They will continue to lie and gaslight as there are people that still want to vote for them for some reason. They are all despicable bastards and this should not be forgotten come the next election. It most certainly will though

Read somewhere that parents and children will get first priority at bigger club as easier to manage than 50% of stadium of geezer in stone island.

Well thats a problem we won't have to worry about !
I'm sticking with Sir Patrick Vallance's advice. We are nowhere near being out of the woods by any means. 254,000 worldwide cases yesterday compared to 70-90,000 in march? Every country needs to get a grip of this before we all simply relax and carry on as normal. Still wear mask and gloves when shopping and my sanitiser too. Maybe losing my old man makes me more paranoid but you can't argue with the facts and the scientists......unless you're Boris.
Yes, as he says, a plan for normality. Which bit of the word plan are you struggling with? It's even in the title of your reference.
You're being deliberately disingenuous, wilfully obtuse or simply dense. Since I don't believe the latter, it's one of the others, so stop it.
I pointed out the difference in the semantics in my post above. Simply put - he is not suggesting that we have a plan for normality by Christmas, but that the plan he is putting in place will bring normality (or a 'significant amount' of normality, whatever that means) by Christmas.
This isn't Chizz you're dealing with FFS - I'm not in the habit of just engaging in pointless debates.
I'm making a wild prediction that the club will email all current season ticket holders now to advise that if they want to secure their place in limited attendance matches come the restart, they need to renew ASAP....
If I remember correctly, the Early Bird prices end next week ?

31st that deal finishes, so we could find ourselves relegated next week and prices going up the week after lol. A half season ticket seems a good option atm, at this rate youl get use out of it until March!

Think this needs to be moved to the HoC thread. No political stuff here thanks.
This will have dire consequences, as seen in the USA already, A problem for sport will also be the local lock downs when viral out breaks occur in a town or city, How do you get the season done when games will be postponed at the last moment and players of a team in such a place will not be allowed to travel.
Comments
I can only assume it will be at 30-50% capacity.
Covered End J Block won't be the same for me.

Why twist the words?

Bit like the Waggy v Green argument!
