I don’t think anyone is blaming the fans. If a log-jam is happening because so many fans are trying to log on, and that log jam could see the case adjourned and our future further put on hold and in doubt, then it’s common sense for the masses to leave the core professionals involved in the proceedings to get on with it.
I would assume a new link has been sent to the judge, barristers, instructing solicitors and representatives of the parties. I doubt they have time to assess the credibility of journalists, bloggers and other supporters and interested parties. Focus will be on getting everyone in and started ASAP. I would assume it may already be underway. It's not easy to find a two hour court slot - if it doesn't happen this afternoon, big problems.
Seeing plenty of “leave ffs” and “get off the meeting you twats” from people on twitter who don’t understand the meeting invites were cancelled and everyone got kicked off half an hour ago.
They promised a new link but one has yet to materialise. Whether they have chosen to continue without the general public, nobody knows.

Well if it ends up going ahead without public then I am even more glad that at least one Charlton fan (the lady Barrister) will be there. Total shambles the Courts did not foresee this but as said above, at least the judge now will have an understanding of the importance of this case to many, many people.
And he hasn’t had the new link yet, so 48 mins in and the meeting hasn’t actually started.
He's just a member of the public though, so if the meeting started again with a new link to just the main parties he wouldn't have got the new link anyway.

If even the press ain't allowed to listen in, how are we gonna find out the outcome? lol
There's a limited amount of slots on Teams, say 200 people can join and theres 600 trying to log in, it creates a queuing system, people that need to be there will get caught in the queue - causing delays- you then have to take into consideration the courts ability to host, connection speeds, bandwith, server... sure Teams and the courts hardware can host 200 people - but not necessarily successfully.
I've sat in a team training meeting on Teams, 42 people, one person sharing a screen so we can watch.. it was shite.
And I imagine the email request and invite from the court is automated, I doubt a secretary sat there and counted through 200+ emails.
I was told about an hour ago on the phone by one of the court staff who take the requests, that the number is 300.
There was only max 125 in there.
I don't understand why anyone would blame this on fans trying to watch. As if they knew that by watching this would happen.
If the fans shared the links to join it would be far more than the 300 originally envisaged and the court ushers or clerk to the court would have had a significant job to find who should or shouldn't have been admitted. Therefore the "Clear the court" instruction was the sensible thing to do to allow the case to be heard.
I cant see how the court service couldn't have predicted this and mitigated it before the event started. They must have known it would be high interest , its not like its someone being tried for walking on the cracks in the pavement. Our best hope is that it cracks on without us and we get to find a positive result out sooner rather than later

I've been told they are trying to get some of the media admitted, but a new link hasn't been sent to me yet.
