Lincoln are beating Gillingham away 1-0 at half time. In the 14 games in which they've scored first they've won 13 and drawn the other one. This will, potentially, be their 9th win from 12 away games this season with just one defeat.
Appleton has been with them for 16 months and none of their starting X1 has been at the club longer than 18 months. In fact, 7 of the side joined them this season with another 3 only having been there a year. The average age of the team is 24.
Appleton doing a decent job carrying on from Cowley's hard work previously.
I'd try sign Jorge Grant (8 goals and 5 assists) and their Centre back Montsma if Lincoln somehow don't go up. Montsma looks solid and only 22 scored 5 already from CB.

It's Appleton's team now, not many of the Cowley players are left.
Norwich looked like they would walk the league afew weeks ago, if Swansea and Brentford win their games in hand then NOrwich will be outside automatic promotion.

Seems to be a bit more competitive than usual this season. Reading were miles ahead a couple of months ago, and now the automatic spots could any of the top 5. Now they have Toney, believe Brentford will have enough to avoid play offs this season.

True, looked like the three relegated clubs, Norwich, Bournemouth and Watford, were going straight back up but as you say things change so quickly as games coming thick and fast.
Naby Sarr gives away the penalty that costs Huddersfield the win...
And midweek he gave away the winner to Bristol C. The Naby fan club only pipe up when he scores. NB it's not all down to Naby but Hudds have let in 38 (only Wycombe worse).
Naby gifts Luton their goal today and then grabs the equaliser.
I have noticed that Carlisle v Orient kicks off at 14.30 tomorrow. For a while kick off times have been all over the place. Does anybody know if they are arranged between the clubs? Within reason.

The clubs i believe originally decide, but the league then have to ok it, however i don't think they object too much if both clubs are in agreement.
Apparently it's because playing it earlier means they can hopefully avoid the bad weather set to hit later that evening. Carlisle already have 4 games in hand on some sides and want to avoid another postponement. Also works well for Orient too i guess as they'll have travelled up yesterday and it means they'll get back home at a reasonable time instead of about 4am.
Fixture congestion is going to be very interesting going in to last couple of months of season. We’ll see then if the current top teams can cope with 3 games a week every week.

Subbed at HT with the home side 3-0 down...
Ended 1-3, the bloke who replaced Wright got the goal back

Seeing that the daytime temperatures at the moment are almost as cold the evening ones anyway, the change in time seemed a bit optimistic
The reaction from Portsmouth fans is rather amusing too
