Last weekend Pompey beat Sunderland 3-1. This is a statement from Bowyer’s boys.

82' Excellent from Charlton who double the lead! Great build-up results in Smyth sending in a pin-point cross for Aneke to head home! COME ON!!! Watch live: http://live.cafc.co.uk #pompey 0 #cafc 2

  • Isn't Shinnie class! All of our transfers look real real quality. Gunter under the radar by most and looks one of the best in the league.

That was some header. Oh that he could stay fit but, that said, he must be a frightening prospect coming on against knackered centre backs

I said 0-3, I could still be right
  • Injuries a huge problem last season, and finger was pointed at the training and recuperation regime ;)
Like Sage said just this week... He's not surprised as the players are being put under such strain at the moment playing constantly with no recovery or proper pre season for anyone because the Premier League and EFL were too eager to get the new season started

As with project restart we're seeing players as nothing more than commodities what with the money around rather than as human beings!!
You can use that reasoning for this season, but what about last season?

I think something is seriously wrong in either our training or how we look after our players
Last season we had a small squad built with players who were talented yet had injury concerns because we couldnt afford anything better

Its ridiculous that the medical team can be blamed for any injury this season, there isnt one player who had suffered a recurance in their hands, every other issue has either been on the training ground or on the pitch itself - Or do you think the medical team are secretly tripping people over at the enter Sparrows Lane because they're bored and want some work?

Such a good reader of the game. He has slotted into centre back seemlessly.

Two attacking subs combine to score. Bowyer might actually know more about football than some give him credit for.

Oh crap, I cashed out on my bet a minute before the second goal.
  • Gunter & Inniss is pretty good, keep them games coming!

It's almost as if getting rid of the bluffers and parasites that have plagued us in recent years, then replacing them with people who know what they're about leads to better outcomes or something.

Bogle hassles, harries, and batters them for 60 minutes, the defenders bruised and sore breath a sigh of relief as Bogle jogs off only to see one twice the size come on his place.

Attempt missed. Ellis Harrison (Portsmouth) right footed shot from the right side of the box misses to the left. Assisted by Sean Raggett with a headed pass following a set piece situation.
