There's a tasty 6 pointer today v Ipswich.
We were all a bit stunned after last Tuesday's horror show, not least Lee Bowyer who's "looking for his side to learn from their mistakes in Tuesday’s loss to Burton Albion and put things right" on Saturday against Ipswich Town at Portman Road.
Expect the side to get rotated again.

Chuks Aneke, Albie Morgan and Jonny Williams will start for the Addicks in today’s game against Ipswich Town.
Bogle, Gilbey and Maddison are joined on the substitutes bench by Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Ben Purrington and Jason Pearce.

No Levitt either0

Blimey, things are on the up with ownership etc
yet
we seem to be back to the days of not being able to fill a bench, and playing players out of position due to injuries0 -

Rubbish to only have 6 subs. Whats Bowyer playing at this time?2

Afternoon to Oggy and the match day crew. Hope everyone is doing well.
We’ll win today.
Up the reds

The Addicks will be without Conor Washington, who misses out with a minor injury, and Deji Oshilaja who is ill. Dylan Levitt is also not involved after testing positive for coronavirus.

Tasty 6 pointer OGGY i remember the day of a tasty 8 pointer 4-4 TOMMY CATON in the last minute at Portman Road bet Bowyer would like some of that goal power today.3

Dont really care if that seventh player on the bench was never going to be someone who could make enough of an impact this afternoonbolloxbolder said:Rubbish to only have 6 subs. Whats Bowyer playing at this time?1 -
Did the youth team play recently? Why no space for Barker or Vennings on the bench.1
-
I think starting Gunter and Pratley again is inviting trouble but if they can focus and hold the line with support from Watson, the attacking start looks much better.1

I was just wondering if thats why he was outOggy Red said:Dylan Levitt is also not involved after testing positive for coronavirus.0 -

Our injury list always seems to get longer, not shorter, Oshilaja, Inniss, Famewo, Washington, Doughty, Foster-Caskey, Levitt all 7 out and 4 walking wounded, Aneke, Pearce, Gilbey and Maddison not fit enough for 90.
It is getting close to being as bad as last season.0 -
Barker ducking why not should be starting all day long1
-
Albie starting, with Chuks and Smyth up front is a big step in the right direction.
Just hope that the defence has got Tuesday's horror show out of their system.1 -
Hence why I dont get people having issue with Bowyer rotating so much - Its a cautious approach but understandable given there has been no pre-season and the fixtures have been crammed into a shorter periodSouthbank said:Our injury list always seems to get longer, not shorter, Oshilaja, Inniss, Famewo, Washington, Doughty, Foster-Caskey, Levitt all 7 out and 4 walking wounded, Aneke, Pearce, Gilbey and Maddison not fit enough for 90.

Got no problem with that starting line up to be honest. Williams in the number 10 role, supporting Aneke and Smyth who play well together is very decent.
Obviously worried about the CB and would rather Pearce started alongside Gunter. Hell I'd even have Purrington starting there as think defensively he is capable.0 -
Pretty sure Bowyer said Levitt was not involved on Tuesday because he had a temperature and protocol dictated he was sent home, so hope they washed the seats on the coach0

No that's Pearce's forte mateOggy Red said:

Levitt was withdrawn from the matchday squad while the team were at Burton, if you remember.ForeverAddickted said:

He'd been originally named as sub, so Morgan could be rested completely.

Hope to be proven wrong with pratley and Gunter at the back, surely they can’t be that bad for three games in a row!!, or hope we can score more than ipswich manage, which is the aim of the game I guess😬😂0
