Christmas songs? Bah humbug!

My family is giving me grief because I have announced that I basically can’t stand the vast majority of Christmas songs. As soon as one comes on the radio, I start moaning and groaning like an old Scrooge.
So far I’ve admitted to liking only three Christmas songs ever made:
- Fairytale of New York by the Pogues and Kirsty MacColl (much discussed already this year)
- 2,000 miles by the Pretenders
- Stop the Cavalry by Jona Lewie
Surely there are some others out there. What am I missing? Or am I just being a miserable sod who should lighten up and sing along to Wham and Cliff Richard?

My daughter's been trying to get me to like Christmas songs too. She's done me an advent calendar with a spotify link a day. They're all been obscure so far and not the sort of thing you'd hear on the radio but I've generally liked them: so far I've had
Nice Time by Toots and the Maytals, Christmas is going to the dogs by Eels, Space Christmas by Allo Darlin, Someday at Christmas by Jack Johnson, This Christmas by The Whispers, Lonely Man of Winter by Sufjan Stevens. So obscure, but I can't fault the effort (or most of the songs TBH).
The one well-known one I quite like apart from the Pogues is Christmas Rapping by the Waitresseshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nud2TQNahaU
Funnily enough, as I've got older and mellower, I'm a lot more relaxed about traditional carols, but you won't hear them on the radio normally.

Hi mate. If you hate Christmas music you should listen to Magic 105.4FM. They don't have any Christmas music on there at all.11 -

I don't mind Christmas songs in December. But when they are playing when Halloween shite is still on shelves it really does get me wound up!1

Happy Christmas (War is Over) by Lennon & Ono.
The Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth by Crosby & Bowie.1 -
Can I suggest an unusual Christmas song, Silent night / 9 o’clock new (Simon and Garfunkel), takes away all the Christmas cheer.2

I like the Mariah Carey one, but only if it's accompanied by the video, and I'm alone in the house with the curtains closed.
Slade seems to be on every time I venture into the supermarket at the moment. It really makes me angry. Supermarkets are horrible places in the run up to Christmas anyway. If Noddy Holder happened to be in the supermarket at the same time as me, and his song was playing, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to stop myself from giving him a good kick up the arse.
"I wish it could be Christmas every day" is also particularly appalling - the song, and the sentiment. I can't think of anything worse than celebrating Christmas every day, although clearly some people would love to do that - there's a house round the corner from St Johns station that's had an inflatable snowman and Father Christmas hanging out of the top and bottom front windows since mid-October, along with a "Santa - please stop here" sign and, through the window you can see the interior is decorated from floor to ceiling with tinsle, misteltoe, holly and what have you. Might go round and have a word with them. It's not on.4 -
I do like this though -

My problem with Christmas songs is that in December you get bombarded with them as you go shopping. Shops clearly feel that if they play Merry Christmas Everyone or Mistletoe and Wine you'll be in the Christmas spirit and spend more...2

Santa claus is coming to town - The Boss

I had my mobile stolen last Thursday and while waiting to connect to EE to report it, I had to endure the following for over an hour!
Had I had a revolver to hand I would have gladly blown my brains out!!!!!!!https://youtu.be/BpfHSqLXePI

Absolute mental torture and abuse, I've reported them for cruelty to adults.
Christmas songs should be banned, they're all shit.3
