Good work for England. Excellent that we have their finishers who like to bat the last 10 overs in at the halfway stage. Will mean that they can't play their natural game.
    Cheers cants
To be fair I think we haven't fully seen their natural game - yet!

Not a whoosh as such but I frequently get the two players' names mixed up which I shouldn't so am making their names up as I go along.

    Like Curran’s mentality.

They can’t hit you for 6 if you exclusively bowl wides.

Three wides in five balls from Curran followed by a boundary. Wicket sure to follow!

It is that thing about "liquorice all sorts" bowling. Eventually he'll bowl a good ball that the batsman isn't prepared for!

To be fair that’s what the Indian’s tactic was vs stokes the other day

Wood could end up bowling 7 overs from one end now!

That must be so distracting for a batsman someone like Wood bowling at that pace and constantly following over in front of you

They are talking about how run rates have changed over the years. The 1986 B & H Cup Final:

    Middlesex 199-7 off 55 (Dilley 11-1-19-1)
    Kent 197-8 off 55 (Cowans 9-2-18-2)

It is difficult to reconcile those scores when you see teams regularly getting that off 20 these days

Wood is really struggling out there which is probably why he only bowled 3 overs inside the first 37

I reckon he's ill. He doesn't look right at all.

Is there a limit to how many bowlers you can use in ODIs?

Still time for Butler to chip in with some leg spin then

I've seen Jason Roy bowl some dirty seam up stuff in a T20 at Chelmsford about 10 years ago. He's very much in the 'should not bowl' class.

Tumble of wickets at the end there. 330 should be gettable

In all forms of professional cricket:

    Prasidh - 36 lifetime innings = 74 runs & average 6.17
    Natarajan - 32 lifetime innings = 42 runs & average 2.80

    Total: 78 lifetime innings = 116 runs & average 4.30

Going back in time numbers 10 & 11 were bunnies but these two rival them

If I was India I'd be pretty miffed. Should have got 360-380 with that start. They had 2 periods of 12 overs where they score 100 runs in both & in those 24 overs only lost 1 wicket. To think they scored less runs than in the 2nd match where they went slow & built as they went on.

    Take a bow, Mark Wood.
Under the weather but fought back to the top of his game.
Last England innings put the frighteners on the Indian batsmen.

This is still a stiff chase and I reckon it won't be easy
