Washington: 5.5 a lamb to the slaughter ploughing a lone furrow
Aneke: 6.5 gave their CBs his calling card shame he can’t do 90 mins
    Williams: 4.5 ineffective
    Referee: 5 inconsistent

    Amos: 6 no Blame here
    Gunter: 5 poor
    Oshilaja: Average
Pearce: 4 When the game could swing either way and your captain does that.
Morgan: 4 Over run in a three man midfield
Forster-Caskey: 7 Best player on the park for us
Gilbey: 4 Would like to give him less, been shit for weeks but is still there.
Maatsen: 4 Poor all game and at fault for the second
Millar: 6 He and Smyth were looking like our bet hope
    Smyth: 6 As above
Washington:5 Didn't hold the ball up once, better in a front two.
Aneke: 5 Usual Aneke tried but was up against it
Williams: 5 Almost as bad as Gilbey
    Referee: 6

Lee Bowyer 6, He knew he didn't have the players to match up in midfield so gambled with the                                          formation, his skipper put an end to that and every substitution after that was a gamble
to get back into the game.

  • Amos: 6.5 - didn’t do anything wrong
    Gunter: 6 - fine
Oshilaja: 6.5 - decent enough but didn’t need to throw himself about for their second
Pearce: 5 - really not at it, aside from just the cock up for the first goal. Got bosses by their attackers
Morgan: 4.5 - anonymous in the middle and managed to always not quite be with the play; behind attacks but never deep enough to support the defence
Forster-Caskey: 6 - did his best as a player who doesn’t usually play as a shield but left too big a gap between himself and the defence. Has two very good shots saved
Gilbey: 6 - ok. Looked like he knew what he was doing on the counter but had some positional issues on the turnover
Maatsen: 5 - decent in the first half but a shitshow in the second. His touch was poor and he was easily robbed for their second
Millar: 6 - signs of what he was brought in for but very poor final ball
Smyth: 6.5 - turned their players at will and caused problems. Should have seen more of the ball but again, lacked end product
Washington: 6 - won his duels and was unfortunate to come off Aneke offered less
Aneke: 5 - very disappointing. Shrugged off their players easily but never drove on the ball and was anonymous
Williams: 4.5 - passenger. Offered nothing going either way and created a hole in our midfield
Referee: 6.5 - didn't do much wrong but JFC can feel hard done by not getting a free kick right before their second goal

Maddison: - Sat very far forward and contributed to them having the space to build for their second goal
Schwartz: - saw glimpses of what he can offer
Purrington: - barely played but kept it simple in his brief appearance, which Maatsen might have benefited from

    Gilbey: 5 hhhmmmm

Forster-Caskey: 6.5 Some bright passes and a couple of decent strikes, one producing a brilliant save
    Gilbey: 4.5
Maatsen: 1 Pulled out of every 50/50, 2 of which in the build up to the second goal
Millar: 6 Bright stuff in the first half, not sure about his diving though
Smyth: 6 lively on the ball, needed more options
Washington: 6 No support let him down. He’s not beating a bunch of ogres in the air
Aneke: 6 Held the ball up well.
    Williams: 5
Referee: 4 some of the fouls he gave them was awful

  • Amos: 5 - never has to make a save yet always lets in 2 goals. Makes you wonder
Gunter: 6 pretty solid, did ok
Oshilaja: 7 - pretty good game but does tend to dive in (as per the second goal)
Pearce: 4 - poor for the first goal, bossed by the attackers
Morgan: 5.5 - seemed to be out of position and was bypassed early doors but did play some good passes, should have been kept on
Forster-Caskey: 6 - too much passing back, too much 3 yard passes, hadn’t got the pace to beat people, dead balls not great either, but tried hard
    Gilbey: 3 - terrible again
Maatsen: 7 - energy and skill at both ends of the pitch but as a young player seems to be struggling compared to earlier in the season
Millar: 7.5 - lively and talented, needs to stay on his feet in the penalty box
Smyth: 6 - lots of running around, not much end product
Washington: 5.5 - pretty anonymous today
Aneke: 6 - some good control and hold up play but not a single chance today
Williams: 5 - didn’t really add anything today
Referee: 7 - got most things right

Maddison n/a - didn’t look bothered before the injury, looked like he didn’t want to be playing
Schwartz: n/a - looked lively but typically didn’t get a chance to
    show what he can do
Purrington n/a - solid as usual

Amos: 7 did he make an error?
Gunter: 5 lost faith in what he is being asked to do.
Oshilaja: 5 is what he is
    Pearce: 2 captain, leader, liability
    Morgan: 4 hmmm
Forster-Caskey: 6 the best of the 3 unlucky not to score.
Gilbey: 3 Well screams "what the fuck are you" at me.
Maatsen: 6 no where near as bad as some are saying
Millar: 4 promising but minus at least 2.5 for that dive.
Smyth: 5 one great cross field pass, would have had pen under VAR.  Still no idea what he is. Winger, midfielder, striker, something else?
Washington: 6 under the Bogle bus you go.
Aneke: 6 did he offer more than Washington?  Different yes, more?
    Williams: 5 no chance.
Referee: 8 I thought he was very good.

Bowyer 1.  Team was OK, considering the injuries/suspension but wow. Being absolutely shit is one thing but to throw at least 3 players (Washington, Pearce and Maddison) under the Bogle Bus?!?!!
