No money for us, but it seems Liverpool are after Konsa, so could be Konsa and Gomez central defence if Virgil van Dijk is injured
Is it definite there'd be no money for us? If Brentford have a sell-on clause with Villa, wouldn't we get part of that?
Why would we get a sell on when a transfer happened that didnt involve us? - Unfortunately because of FFP, when we sold Konsa there were no addons included, we just bit their hand off for the fee up front

Because if the sell on is a % of the profit and then another sell on increases that profit you would be entitled to it?
Not specifically about Konsa, but say a club sells a player with agreed add ons including the sale of that player by the new club. Surely the add ons have a value if the new club sells the player on, if that deal includes add ons, as it is part of the fee.
So if the current club, say Villa give Brentford say £3m after selling him to say Liverpool. Is this not considered part of the original fee to Villa? If not, there is a lot of scope for abuse.

It is usual for sell ons of sell ons to pay out.
It is but Konsa, if he goes to Liverpool, would be an example of where it could, as is Fosu. Maybe Doughty will be another.
Most of the players we have historical sold, in modern times, have gone to "big clubs" straight from us.

Anyway as you say its not relevant with Konsa.
Of course we get nothing from sell ons.
