Slightly different tack, i have tickets for the 20/20 at the Oval 9th July. Is anyone aware of whether this will now just be Surrey members as it appears with other socially distanced games prior to 19th July?
Thanks
We are wondering the same. We had tickets for the Middx game at Lords on the 16th which have been sorted (basically they refunded the originals and you had to re-purchase and luckily we got tickets) but the game at the Oval is before
I have been checking their website and have found this link
so we may still get to watch another Kent victory at the Oval😁
How can we get tickets for the game at the Oval, it has gone Surrey members only, hasn't it? Prefer the Middx option when they refunded the original tickets and resold a fewer amount
Princess Fiona, have you had a message from Surrey confirming it’s is Surrey members only?
It’s not clear on their website and my mate who has the tickets is saying he hasn’t heard from them and that we are still going, I have to admit I will be surprised if we did get to go as the game is before 19th July.
I got an email from them earlier saying it is members only. Frustrating as close to my work buy i giuess we will just enjoy the game at Lords
My son has had the same email as you. They seem to be saying you can get a refund and a free ticket for a one day game at the oval, which seems very decent of them.
Listening to the last 15 mins, extra time & pens at the France v Switzerland match on the way home ALMOST made up for the debacle we watched tonight in Canterbury.
Too many of our batters holing out too early , followed by a master class in how to take the Spitfire bowlers apart sums up the evening.
Unfortunately, the mist was evident at the opposite side of the pitch so we were forced to watch the capitulation.
And it feckin did play havoc with my barnet, @KBslittlesis !!
Not optimistic about our chances at Hove tomorrow either....
I have come to the conclusion you are the perfect wife Fanny - like watching football, like watching cricket - are you also a brilliant cook, good at map reading, interested in military history and a dab hand at DIY ?
Lol ! Only just seen this, LF !
All I shall say on the matter is that I'm passionate, loyal & have a loud shouty voice.
So, presumably I fit the profile of an avid football & cricket supporter ( might have to lower that voice in hospitality at Lords next month!)
However, regarding any additional attributes, you'd have to ask Mr F.

😃
Lords is like a morgue - shout as much as you want - needs some life injected into it - give me the Oval all day long (although I have been to Lords many more times than the Oval, sadly)
Wakey Wakey. Evening all. I went to this game two years ago with five mate's All Charlton but unfortunately all Kent. Although you buggers won it was a great night out. Sadly because of this poxy virus I can't attend tonight but hopefully next season we can all go and meet up for a beer. Good luck everyone
Sam Northeast has left Hants by mutual consent and joined Yorkshire on a short term contract. After that he will be a free agent. Wonder if his fall out with Kent will be buried with a possible return to us? This will almost certainly be Kuhn's last season as he is now considered to be an overseas player and Northeast wouldn't be the worst replacement.

Let them get about 40 more than they should have from where we had them at one point. Disappointing really. Without Sam, Tom and Topley we really do lack death bowling.

Jamieson has also been disappointing with the ball for Surrey

I expect you're having to pay him peanuts too
If we pay him per wicket with a bonus every time he bowls an over for less than 10 he would be the cheapest overseas in the history of the game.

Had the same, was looking forward to meeting up with mates for a few beers.

I must be totally mad. A glutton for punishment.
Decided to take a look at the KCCC website tonight & discovered there were a few tickets on offer for tomorrow evening's match.....
So, we SHALL be going to the "ball" !
