Just hope we give a decent account of ourselves and Stevens contributes positively.
It he plays. Their concern has always been that he isn't as effective with the white ball and they have to hide him in the field. There is no comparison between him and Robinson for example. That said, I think they will still go with him because he has the capability of hitting big and it will then just be whether they play Stewart or Logan.
Archie Lenham the youngest to play in Finals Day at 17 yrs 57 days Darren Stevens the oldest to play in Finals Day at 45 yrs 141 days
When Lenham was born, Stevens was still playing for Leicstershire!
As an aside I wonder whether Archie Lenham is related to former Sussex father and son Les Lenham and Neil Lenham. If so how many times have 3 generations played cricket at first class or equivalent level? George Headley, Ron Headley and Dean Headley is the only example I can think of off the top of my head.

That answers the first question.
I'll leave it to someone else to answer the three-generation one ...

He is indeed grandson and son of the gentlemen mentioned. He has a 19 year old brother, Scott, who was in the county age group system but hasn't played for Sussex since turning out for Sussex 2s two years ago
Denly has been so out of form this season it's ridiculous
When Denly was batting, I said to my other half that I wasn't expecting him to score many as not in good form! Love Hussain and Atherton talking about Stevo's 'longevity' and how he coached them and is still playing long after them!

County Championship 17.57

His saving grace is his leg spin in white ball. He might well open the bowling
