the way everyone talks about those two defenders coming back it's increasingly sounding like we're waiting on Nesta and Maldini.
Only positive is that it will either lead to the Management team receiving some egg on their face or be we'll see an upturn in results.
The aim is clear, sneak into Playoffs. Alot has changed this year and for the better of our football club. Lockdown life has led me to over obsess with sport being the only real getaway. I'm going to sit back and look at the wider picture for the rest of this season.
Firstly can we now park any talk about our team being rubbish, and so forth. That's now Thomas, Gallen and Bowyer who have said we should be play-offs minimum.
Secondly I like that Thomas is willing to not make any rash decisions and is on the same page as Bowyer and Gallen. As much as I have been disgruntled with performances lately it is nice to see everyone pulling in the same direction.
To be fair if every League One side lost their 1st and 2nd choice CB's they'd be shit. But once we have Famewo back things do need to pick up or Bowyer will be in a lot of trouble.

Imagine Powell’s team in 11/12 if Morrison, Taylor and Cort were all injured and we were stuck with Doherty and Mambo as our CBs.
Saying that you could use short term loans back then which meant cover was usually available.
Well done TS just what is needed to counteract the moaning minnies on here who want LB out. He has been loyal to the club and the fans should follow the owner's example and support LB for the rest of the season
Doesn't sound like Bowyer is going anywhere in the short term. But it does also very much sound like Sandgaard has at least a few expectations and goals he wants to see met as well.
To me it seems like this season is more about cleaning up the mess TS was left behind the scenes and setting the scene. Summer and beyond will be where Bowyer's place in that gets decided.
TS at least has some realism and understands how difficult it has been for LB and Co. If he is prepared to stand by LB, whilst funding the club (and buying the women's section as well!), then we should as well. If we can make the top 6 then excellent, and we can have a go to try and get to Wembley again, if other clubs have a dip in form then we may do even better. To me this is TS talking to supporters and letting us know he has faith in LB! Perhaps now is the time to sit back and see what transpires, after all it's TS money that has saved the club and is building for the future. Perhaps we all need a little patience?
This best attack in the league needs to start scoring goals then Thomas.
That's not been the problem, it's been keeping them out
I was referring to the "attack", if you count Bogle's 2 goals we just shade half our total scored by forwards, we rely a lot on midfield scoring which I do not think TS was referring too.
I would guess that Thomas is taking time to watch and see how things develop; the performance of the management team, their motivation and rapport with their playing staff ....... rather than just results.
He'll need to feel things are progressing in the right direction. That something is building.
We are all hoping for the magical 'run' and it may yet happen - there's no reason why not. But if we do miss out on a playoff spot, questions will be asked I'm sure.

keeps mentioning top-six though, if we don't make that, or in a few weeks don't look like doing that, I think it is.

Like others have stressed, just would have been nice had we known about defensive targets rather than just being told we couldnt get anyone
e.g. Similar to how we at the very least knew about Kirk, although playing devils advocate it is disrespectful if that did come out
Aneke on one week and out the next won't help either. Like Stockley though
