Last time we played this lot, as so often happens when we play struggling sides, we'd gone for a Burton.
Unbelievably losing 4-2, personal mistakes costing us goals, always chasing the game.

Our erstwhile non-scoring legend Jimmy Floyd Cash-in-the-bank, renowned for the size of his shorts, has been recently returned to manager - and consequently an upturn over all in their results.

Lee Bowyer"We’re inconsistent at the moment."  Anyone on here got a different view?

Chuks, remembered for a glorious overhead finish up at Burton, returns from his sojourn in the Sin Bin. Naturally we pin most of our hopes on him.
Inniss is injured, along with hamstrung pair Gilbey and JFC. Will Famewo be rested tonight replaced by young Mr Pearce? Lots of people hoping to see DJ.

Charlton: Amos; Matthews, Oshilaja, Pearce, Purrington, Watson, Pratley, Shinnie, Millar, Stockley, Jaiyesimi.

Subs ): Harness, Famewo, Aneke, Washington, Smith, Maatsen, Schwartz.

Yeah, you know you can't resist. Just do it:
Supporters who are yet to purchase a pass for Tuesday's game can do so here.

Then there is Addicks TV. Don't miss the Scott Minto Show on Valley Pass.
He will be joined by guest pundits Alan Curbishley and Paul Mortimer for the broadcast which begins at 6.15pm.

Looks like a 4-3-3 with Jaiyesimi and Millar either side of Stockley. Midfield of experience in Pratley, Watson and Shinnie. Famewo on the bench and Pearce takes the captain’s armband. Surprised to see that Gunter doesn’t even make the bench.

  • Four wins out of five when Watson and Pratley have started in midfield together according to Dazzler

Lets hope its five wins out of six

    Amos

    Matthews - Oshilaja - Pearce - Purrington

    Shinnie - Watson - Pratley

    Jaiyesimi - Stockley - Millar

Gone into full Graham Taylor mode.......

    "Do I not like that......"

Bowyer really knows how not to set a team up to score first.

    I'm done.

Hahaha well I asked for both miller and JS to start. Also kind of tongue in check suggested no Watson or pratley. For the life of me I didnt expect both of them lol

4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1? Teansheet gets a bit stranger the longer you look at it but Pratley and Watson is about the only proven combination for a few wins

    Matthews in for Gunter- Good
    Aneke benched - Bad
    DJ & Millar -  Good
    Watson & Pratley-  Bad
    Smith benched-  Bad
    Pearce for Famewo -  Sensible

    What.....with 1 striker on the pitch & 3 on the bench ????

Rather play the 7 on the bench against the 11 of Burton.

Haha I can only assume the approach is if the forwards lose the ball our midfield are going to be hacking them burton down if the get close enough to any of our midfield

I'm glad I'm recording this one, I can fast forward Ben Watson waddling around so he might actually look like a normal player
