I don't see the sense in not starting Aneke (our top goal scorer) when he missed Saturdays game - hardly needs resting does he. And the fact that he usually come on in the 2nd half when we are losing.Callumcafc said:

Looks like Gunter is missing through injury too which makes an enforced fourth change.
The only change that might be seen as “tinkering” is Watson in for Smith. Otherwise all of these switches make a lot of sense.

I suspect Bowyer has picked this team with a view to Saturday. He is probably hoping to start Aneke against Blackpool so is looking for us to do well enough in the first half to not have to give him too many minutes.
I can see the logic, but not sure it will work. We are certainly going to need DJ and Millar to have strong games. I presume Gunter has a knock and Morgan has been dropped.0 -

Neither of them were brilliant @ Burton either, despite the former playing Centre-Back so a bit like the Rochdale away game where Bowyer took the performances from the second half, I'm not surprised he's made selections from that 4-2 defeat performance in mindsuperclive98 said:
