  • hat-trick from Sarr Famewo 0-3 Charlton go marching on...
  • After the Wigan win it suddenly becomes a massive fixture now.  Win this and the “bowyer out” pendulum swings slightly back towards “in bowyer we trust”.  I can’t see anymore than a battling draw, 1-1 Stockley.
  • I feel this will shape what happens for the rest of the season. Lose and we can be fairly certain of mid table at best. A win would reignite play off ambition. No idea what will happen. We keep hoping for that spark but we can't string wins together. Desperately hope we win this one. Chuck's and Stockley up front for me. COYRs!
  • We’ve not won back to back matches since Oct 31-Nov 3. That’s 4 months ago. So I predict a 1-0 loss.
  • I think we get beat pretty handily.

I would love for us to win but even though we picked up the 3 points I don't really think we looked that convincing against Wigan. Oxford are much better than them.
  • 1-1 draw. Big game for us as we need a win to have any hope of looking up the league table.

Will settle for a good performance and build from being unbeaten in two matches.
  • Don't expect one win to make any difference....Paul Cook going to Ipswich?...Think we missed a big opportunity there!
  • A draw seems to be the most predicted result, I’m going with that.

He was so so good wasn't he. Crazy to think he made so few appearances in the top flight but I am glad he got there in the end.
  • Time for the team to prove themselves. Unfortunately I can see us starting well then condescending late on. 2-1 Oxford.
  • Can’t wait ... C’mon you Addicks
  • What's wrong with you lot.
One in the eye for the negative naysayers on here.
Call me naïve, go on call me naïve but I always believe we will win, (well almost always).
    Maybe hope over expectation really.
So lets wake up tomorrow excited, hoping for a win, ready to enjoy that extra glass of red juice tomorrow night celebrating a win and make our friend Fanny Fanacapan tingle with joy.
    On the other hand!!

Oxford are a very good side , but I think we'll edge it 2-1 . JFC and Washington on the scoresheet.
We seem to lift our game against the better teams, Portsmouth we were shite but Peterborough we werent
    Sadly we lost both :/
We beat Portsmouth away last October don't forget 0-2, back when we were doing fine, so who knows, can see us repeating the score and doing the double over Robbo,s mob
  • Can't believe no-one has said it yet.........

    Comfortable 4-0 away win.

That's certainly not true this season. Based on the sides above us.

    Doncaster - lost
    Lincoln - lost
    Sunderland - drew
    Portsmouth - won
    Ipswich - won
    Hull - lost
    Accrington - lost
    Peterborough - lost
    Portsmouth - lost

    7 points from 9 games.

Only 20 points shy of the c
    Full allocation.

    Ok, Where's @UnhappyValley then :)
  • Don’t know if any of you who went to the away game 2 seasons ago remember the absolute smack head in the home end that was giving it large all game.  Really got a dislike for this club given that and earlier that season when they got an equaliser late on and their fans were celebrating like they’d won on social media

1-1 written all over it.  Millar for us.  A nothing result and we then go into a run of 3 home games where we muster 1pt and Inniss suffers a setback after getting a run out against Bristol Rovers Tuesday week.

Wake me up when Pratley returns from his ban

Is it worse to condescend or concede?
  • Not sure about this one? We are good away but not convincing. But this a ground we struggle to pick up a result at. 2-1 Oxford, nothing to see here...
  • Last chance saloon to get a winning run going before it’s to late!  Win ugly.... yes please!

And when you factor in that Ipswich are shit it’s even more damning.
  • 433, changes only where needed and try and get some sort of fluidity and form for the rest of the season.

                               Amos
      Matthews  Pearce  Famewo Maatsen
                   Smith  Watson  JFC
       Washington   Stockley     Millar

Substitutes Bench: Harness  Gunter  Oshilaja  Shinnie  Jaiyesimi  Schwartz  Aneke

Would rather see Morgan/ Shinnie start/ bench instead of Smith but for continuity sake... I'd give him another go.

A much improved performance but a 2-1 loss.

Looking forward to this one. It should be enjoyable because Oxford play good football, and a nice break from windy northern hoof-ball.

I fancy us to keep building with a morale-lifting, last-minute win.
