  • Was at All In last night. Excellent show from top to bottom. Loved the main event and the video packages for Ospreay and Omega made it feel extra special.

Along with seeing Charlton win to go top of the league and some quality wrestling, this has been an outstanding Bank Holiday weekend!

At these top level shows there's no comparison.
Fantastic PPV from top to bottom and great pacing too. Not an advert in sight.

Section S on the pitch-side. Pretty close to the action and where the first deathriders 'through the crowd' entrance was.

Moved away from AEW when Cody returned to WWE, based on the current output it feels like I’ve made a dreadful mistake 😀

I want both promotions to be great but right now AEW is streets ahead of WWE in terms of quality.

WWE is terrible at the moment, I’m watching Raw & Smackdown on x1.5 speed - currently feels like an obligation to watch rather than out of enjoyment!

Not a big wrestling watcher but I am a huge Every Time I Die fan and Andy Williams was one of the nicest people you could possibly hope to come across. A really big loss for humanity

Some title changes over the weekend. Punk losing and Liv losing at a house show at least it keeps things interesting. Would love to see Penta win tonight to really mix things up

Tripplemania should be decent as well. Both nights are on YouTube.

RIP Pac. One of the best wrestlers over the last decade. In absolute shock right now. 40 is no age. Thoughts are with his family.
  • R. I. P. Neville. Shocking news.

    Well worth blocking Val Venis.

Terrible loss, R.I.P The Bastard PAC

Having thought about it a bit - Pac/Neville is definitely one of those performers who could and definitely should have been a bigger star than he was given the chance to be.

One of the few heels who came across like he had serious legitimacy to his character. Enjoyed him as the ‘King of the Cruiserweights’ in WWE. He stood out in that 205 Live era as probably the only cruiserweight who should have been operating at a higher level on the card.

Physically in as good shape as practically anyone I’ve ever seen in a wrestling ring, which is what makes this news even more shocking.

Someone has died and rather than waiting for facts to appear he's jumped to conclusions like a typo conspiracy believing weirdo.

The rest of the internet has been full of respect and praise for his career.

The only prick anyone needs to worry about is Val Venis.

Only just about Pac. Horrible news. One of the best around and had been really fun to watch lately.
  • This is probably in poor taste. But I rate Pac above Osprey. His promo skills massively improved after he left NXT which was all he was missing. Maybe his Gordie accent held him back in America? 😕

He wasn’t the tallest in stature and he probably didn’t have that ‘billboard’ look that WWE want. But in-ring talent wise he’s up there with the absolute best in the last 20 odd years.
  • He has the long black curly hair that WWE like!

Probably a size thing, especially with WWE, but he was built like a gorilla!

Without trying to criticise him too much, especially at this time, whilst he had a good heel look - what I meant was that he probably didn’t have that star looking handsomeness they want in WWE.

They have to look like celebrities at the main event level, even as heels (Seth Rollins, HHH, The Miz). If you see Pac/Neville outside the ring he didn’t quite have that look.

They still absolutely could and should have made much more of him though. Would amaze me how fast he would move in the ring, whilst still maintaining ‘heavyweight’ style offence. Could pull off being the high flyer that would do outrageous things in the ring, but also looked the part tapping someone out.

Missed out on about a month of WWE and just catching up.

    - Really enjoying what the 946 stable have added to Raw. Their feud vs The Bloodline has HHH’s fingerprints all over it, and when he books these types of angles he tends to do them well. Nicely being set up for a War Games showdown. The last big stable idea they had was The Vision which hasn’t ever quite hit its potential due to Seth’s injury early on.

    - Penta!!! Amazing to think how far he has come. Did anyone ever foresee a member of AEW’s “Death Triangle” going on to potentially become WWE Champion? They’re definitely going all in with the luchadore/AAA theme on Raw. No way he would have been in the main event scene otherwise. But he’s well over with the crowd and has taken his chance.

Penta is one of my favourite wrestlers, ever since seeing his work in Lucha Underground, so incredibly happy he's been given this platform to do his thing

Bronson Reed looks incredible since his return. Hard to see where Bron fits in.
