  • They need to cut their loses and get rid of him. As Seth said he's a cancer. However, Tony seems to utterly mental so i'll take the rumours seriously.
probably terrible in the long run, but if you are trying to fill Wembley? Plenty will pay to see it
More will pay to see Punk then Osprey. He's probably their biggest draw, Danielson is probably up there too. I'm guessing most casuals don't know who MJF is.

They need casuals to sell Wembley tickets.

Everyone that wants to watch agreesive tumblesaults and competitive parkour and can go to Wembley will, if Ospreay is on the card on not.

Punk and people like Jerricho and Matt Hardy who casuals, lapsed fans and people who have never heard of AEW are the ones that will sell the other tickets.

The big issues, with AEW as ever, is how do you appeal to both?
  • I think the ticket prices will be the appeal. Casuals will be interested if it's reasonable with names they know, perhaps Sting as well. Hardcores can lap up the ring side

    Sting and Goldberg?
  • I'll probably give it a miss if they book Goldberg.
  • Interesting that AEW are considering a roster split and a new Saturday show, which is seemingly being pushed ahead now to be able to accommodate Punk's return, whilst keeping him away from The Elite

You would miss a whole 3+ hour show for a 10 minute match?  Why not take the opportunity to take a slash?

I'll give up on the promotion if that's the direction they're going. They are on thin ice at the moment and that would be the straw that broke the camel's back. Seeing Sting no sell in 2020s is bad enough.

Ha, anything bar just get rid of Punk!

  • All in was promoted during the cup semi-finals. Seems like they're going to promote this properly.
  • Back to two world champions, urgh.

  • Doesn't make any sense, Roman has both belts already, so are they just admitting no-one is on his level and they need to create a new championship for everyone else, so now he has a false title? Completely devalues both belts IMO
  • They’re having to scramble things together after the last minute change of the Wrestlemania main event.

Highly doubt this was part of the original plan.
  • Having two world champions within the same promotion is stupid and the brand split means nothing as folk jump between rosters. If they had one set of world champions (men, women and tag) keep people on their rosters for a year or so they may have something. It means something when someone turns up on or leaves NXT.

The bloodline reunifying the titles recently suggests this is some new plan. The new champion is also being crowned in Saudi Arabia.

    Awful looking belt ftr.

It’s a way of greasing the path to have Reigns hold a ridiculous Bruno Sammartino level streak. (Ok, maybe not that long - but at least another 1-2 years).

It’s a way of giving the fans ‘World title’ changes without having to take the belt off Reigns.

Won’t be surprised to see it juggle between 3-4 people a year with Reigns then just doing the major PPVs.
  • Talking of messes, seat plan is out for All In.

They’re aiming for the whole stadium.

Fucking love it. Good for them.

It’s bonkers, but I’m happy to just enjoy it rather than trying to criticise and complain. We don’t get shows like this enough to pick everything apart.
  • Not sure it's possible to be a wrestling fan and not pick things apart. 😉

Prices are higher than i expected and various areas should have a better view than more expensive areas unless i'm missing something.

But the whole stadium, wow! Guess they based this on how many people registered, which was very impressive.
  • Will aim to get a £70 ticket high up in the stand behind the stage I reckon

Hardly wrestlemania, but was a good show.

Cody blew the roof off.  Dominic got booed massively.  Seth's song is the most over thing, Miz is a brilliant heel.  Bronson Reed is a big lad.

Much different to what you get to see on TV.

WWE house shows are generally more fun than TV. Talent have a lot more freedom. The clips that people upload onto social media always look fun. Glad you had a good time!

They're the best seats bar ringside IMO.

Surely all the stands are behind the stage ?

    That's a big stage.
  • Got our tickets.
  • Got our tickets.
Are they on sale?  I thought it was tomorrow 😕
  • Pre sale started at 11am.

Coach packages from Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester available, various hotel packages, a pre party on Saturday.

    They're taking this very seriously.
  • I just bought tickets but could only get ones up in the gods!
  • Will be interesting to see what the first day sales are, should be pretty impressive.

Should be loads available in the lower tiers.
  • I might have to try and get lower tier ones on resale.

It seems mad, but all of a sudden it doesn’t sound completely outrageous to think they could sell the place out?!
  • I still believe it's outrageous but have been wrong on these things many times before.
