    Ok that ones got me big time. The voice of my childhood watching F1 with my Dad at a time when the sport had super heroes - Mansell, Senna, Piquet, Prost.

    His voice and the theme tune were the soundtrack to my childhood.

    Together, dad and I would watch the F1, BTCC and various bike races religiously back in the '80s,  very much less so in the more recent past.

    "There is nothing wrong with the car except that it is on fire."

    Him and James Hunt were quite the double act. What started as a strained relationship at best ended with such a close relationship that Freddie Hunt once said to me Murray was like a father to him after his Dad died.
