RIP. I remember my father and uncle regaling me with stories of clashes between Derek and the great John Charles. Total Charlton legend, yes he had a good innings, but he will still be missed. Iconic sportsman.
Oh that's so sad to hear. Well before my time to see him play at either sport he excelled at but had the pleasure, like so many of us I suspect, of meeting Derek a few times. Lovely man and Charlton through and through.
Condolences to his family and friends on this sad day.
A sad loss and my condolences to his family and friends. For me a cricket and football fan he was a remarkable sports man and just remember his last years at Kent. Even at the end a good keeper.
For a man who represented England at football his Wikipeadia page seems remarkably sparse. Would be good if someone with more information than me could update it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derek_Ufton

RIP Derek
A great centre half of us, and very good wicket keeper for Kent, understudy to Godfrey Evans one of the best wicket keepers in the world at that time.
