    Good for jfc, I don’t dislike him but also not overly excited that he is sticking around. Would rather fresh new hungry to prove themselves signings.

     Can’t see it myself.
    We've done double signings before (very rarely) but those were signed on the same day as each other. Just not announcing a signing makes no sense, announcing two at once makes no practical difference whatsoever.
    BOGOF .............. buy one etc.  :)

    Happy with that. JFC gets some unnecessary stick I think..tidy player who does his job. Hope he recover quicker than expected.👍

    I don’t reckon you’ll see him in the match day squad until the new year but hope I’m wrong; @Sage is your man. Even then players quite often suffer from other niggling injuries unconnected.

    Weird how football work out sometimes. A player isn't deemed good enough for a contract with us, then ends up signing for Nottingham Forest.
    See Toby Stevenson, who was on Watford's released list I think.

    No, as I said when I posted than Nathan Harvey had signed this morning

    That @Covered End  was clearly was a joke and I really meant JFC would sign for us.

    Very good player, glad we did the right thing by him and that we, I assume it's us not him, have an option for another year.

    Big question, obviously, is how soon he can get fit.

    But we'll get some coaching hours out of him so not a total loss for six months.

    Danny Ings has rejected Southampton's contract offer - imo he would be a very effective foil for Stockley.

    Just a shame we couldnt get Victor Moses over the line. Imagine those 3 up front! Reckon we would be pushing for the top six, maybe even top two.
