You have 22 players, on that basis, the team should get lots of pointsBraziliance said:How many points does this team get? I reckon we would be looking at spending around 3-4 million to have this side

Is that why it says 21/22 at the top?Braziliance said:

Read the mower guy's post from this morning. JW said he's left it in the hands of his agent.ShootersHillGuru said:
He’s been training at Sparrows but nobody knows if either he or the club are looking at anything more than him keeping fit until he’s fixed up somewhere.SheedyCAFC said:Has there been anything actually linking Williams with a move back to Charlton or is it just chat?0 -
And looked very good in our 5-1 v Wimbledon. Almost scored two goals, and ran rings round them. It all went a bit sour after that, but not sure Bowyer was the ideal manager for him.Oggy Red said:
And some people forgetting that he made a tremendous start to our last Championship season.SELR_addicks said:Think it's unfair to criticise Williams, every time he was on the pitch he was booted into the air the moment the ball was at his feet.
Lost count of the amount of free-kicks he wins.
He really was a key member of our midfield at that time.
Also not forgetting Wembley, when he came on and started running at the Sunderland defenders.
They couldn't handle him. Terrific impact which swung the game in our favour.6 -
You can't mistake Jonny Williams for a kid.Alwaysneil said:
Jonny Williams is about my height, while fully grown adults, we still get the slightly myopic grown adults thinking we are kids 😞ForeverAddickted said:
Grown adults who feel the need to slag off any players are the ones who need more of a grip me thinks!!bolloxbolder said:Charlton fans defending Schwartz and Williams. A major part of why we are where we are. Get a grip ffs.
He's the one with his head on upside down.

Any news on Nick Pope's injury and potential sale?
Might mean an increase in budget.
Although spending less then you've brought in is BAD when Sandgaard does it but GOOD when Brentford do it, for a few at least.1 -
Don't know about his injury recovery, but Burnley have been linked with the Czech Keeper as a 'possible replacement for Pope'.Henry Irving said:Any news on Nick Pope's injury and potential sale?

I was thinking to myself, 'Who would I prefer to sign for us, an Aribo type or Curren?' Then Kinsella came to mind. That's the type of player we need. The game would flow through Kins - somehow he gave the team balance and control. Last year, in the games I saw on Charlton Live we often seemed fractured and lacked control.1

Sorry, is Golfie really getting pelters for saying ‘the mower guy’? I’m sure he wasn’t trying to be rude. Everyone seems to be hyper twitchy right now.Johnnysummers5 said:golfaddick said:
Partly laziness & partly because I said I wasnt going to post anymore for a while & if people cant be arsed to keep up & read previous posts why should I do their work for them. Certainly meant no disrespect to the lad.Major said:golfaddick said:

Curious. Is that meant as a dismissive insult or are you too lazy to go back and get the correct user name?
Its all there if you go back a few pages.

Why is there all the hype about Tucker?
Honestly watched him today and not sure what are his real strong points?3 -

He is quite similar to Lockyer when I’ve watched him.0

So Thomas bought Schwartz to the club - Disastrous
Roddy brought his son to the club - Hopeless
So my question is will Mumford bring his son to the club? Has a nice ring to it.36 -
