1.6 million the reported figure Charlton received from Chelsea for Burstow now seems to have turned into good business as his career stats show 5 goals in 80, pretty dreadful for a striker although I guess he still has time to improve .

Was stuck out on the wing a bit for Hull in fairness. Will be interesting to see how he does playing up front and at a level he’s good enough to play at
The fact is he left us way too early in his career and it’s held him back . I’m sure his bank balance is ok though.
I wouldn’t have him back because I think he hasn’t progressed .
I’d actually disagree. Not coming up through an academy meant a year at Chelsea was actually great for his development. What went wrong is that they pitched him way too high when loaning him out. He wasn’t near good enough for Sunderland at that stage, if he’d gone to league 1 then, I think his career would have gone much better
very ineffective today at Stockport in a 2-0 Bolton loss (Mothersille scored Stockport's first, but generally looked wasted playing a s a right winger)

I watched it. Thought he looked well off the pace and disinterested. Not effective at all.

I know we all joke about Ahadme being good for them, one thing you can never pin on him is that he looks disinterested. He will work his socks off.
