This. The fact he was up arguing the toss as soon as it was confirmed the goal was given only confirms he went down to ensure United could get out of their penalty area.
Sancho is so much better in the right as is Rashford from the left. Odd having them in the wrong positions. Thought they might be swapping flanks but it hasn't happened
Michael Carrick has stepped down as first team coach at United and left the Club
I am surprised that he did such a good job at Man U, though it could be a case of all the talent turning up and playing after the useless, hapless solskjaer was sacked a year too late The Man U/Gunners game was a treat to watch .. two expensively assembled outfits at last getting it nearway right
I watched the Man U v Arsenal game last night, my first premier league game I've watched in a few years. Enjoyed it, especially the first goal. What Charlton game was it where something similar happened?? (albeit the oposite way around!) the ref accidentally blew his whistle and stopped the game just as their player took a shot. He tried to just give the goal but Powell went mad and eventually there was a drop ball on the edge of our box!

Fuck me. Commentators going a bit over the top there. Theres no doubt it’s a decent goal, but the commentators are talking about Mason Mount’s goal like it was on a par with Van Basten or something. Very odd.

Any goal by a young English player gets a considerable hype inflation, them's the rules

De Gea went down hoping for a free-kick when it was his own man that stepped on him.
Goalkeepers would drop to the floor every single attacking move if they knew the game would be stopped and reset.

If a striker scored 35 a season for 20 years, he'd have 700.
And the thing is i wouldn't bet against him getting to 900, especially if he goes to play in the MLS in a couple of years.
