  • Leeds are in a lot of trouble
absolutely .. 3-0 after less than 1/2 hour
  • Dunno what was better there.

The ball through to Kane, or the finish!!
  • Second worse GD in the division after Norwich, 8 worse than Watford, 22 worse than Burnley, that could be crucial
  • Christian Eriksen on the bench against Newcastle today
  • Oh dear Stuart Dallas!!! :open_mouth:

He's just copied Luke Varney when we played Burnley
  • Big Sam trending on Twitter  ;)
  • Kane and Son take the record for most prolific partnership of goals and assist to each other
  • Huge applause from all sides of the ground as Eriksen comes on for his Brentford debut

Brentford - 1 point from their last 8 games and 4 points from their last 11. They have scored just 6 goals in those 11 matches. Massive couple of games coming up for them - away to Norwich and home to Burnley.
  • All eyes were set to be on a relegation/survival battle between Burnley v Newcastle last game of the season

BUT attention may now switch to Brentford v Leeds

Biesla is a tactical genius tho 😂
  • All the talk always seems to be about missing Bamford but they have a massive Kalvin Phillips shaped whole in the middle of the pitch.
And a massive Liam Cooper whole in defence in recent weeks. Leeds don’t help themselves with playing “the bielsa” way when that way has been developed with a spine of those three mentioned players who have all been missing. Phillips is the biggest miss for them no doubt though.
  • Wow. Huge news. Roman Abramovich hands stewardship over to Chelsea trustees.
  • Sky sports just announced that Abramovic had handed over stewardship and care of Chelsea to the trustees of the clubs charitable foundation.

Not sure what this means (Sky didn’t elaborate) and whether he continues to bankroll them or not?
  • To prevent any sanctions impacting the club I guess.

Suspect it means he has recently had to move his money out of the UK as he expected the government might be about to seize or freeze those assets.
  • How the hell is that not a penalty to Everton??
  • That's a definite pen in my view.

Ridiculous when you consider some of the penalties that have been given for f all
  • How the hell is that not a penalty to Everton??
Probably because it was against Man City,

Wont be long I reckon before we see Liverpool vs Man City on the final day of the season.

Bet VAR will do everything to try and ensure those two go into that game on joint points - Maybe I'm a little cynical after the Abu Dhabi GP last season - But bet it wont be the last thing that gets manipulated.

Was always my biggest concern with VAR, always knew that the controversial talking points would remain. There are too many grey rules which can be left open to interpretation, so there can never be consistency with it. But felt that it would be something that would ultimately support the bigger teams at times.

Agreed. They will probably play Liverpools home game in Boston and Man City’s in Abu Dhabi.

The number of poor decisions made in Stockley Park has been a disgrace this season
  • Leeds are in a lot of trouble
Watching them yesterday, there's a few similarities with us. Some key players injured, players seeming to give up when they go 1 down, manager only plays one way despite it clearly not working.

Logically if you're conceding 3 every week you'd try and shore up the defence, but no Leeds just pour forward, playing a high line and any half decent side just rips them apart. Spurs got 4 and Leeds couldn't have complained if it was 7.

I know they've got the spine of their team missing (Cooper, Phillips, Bamford) but their football is suicidal. Either those 3 need to return sharpish, or Bielsa has to go. If neither happen they're going down.

Can’t remember which pundit it was but they were talking about losing over and over again and not changing anything. Same tactics, same formation. Over and over and getting the same results. Expecting different players to come in and play the same roles that injured players would have filled rather than adapting accordingly.

    Leeds or Charlton?
