MacG: 5.5 poor for the first goal, kicking was a bit suspect at times and didn’t command his box Matthews: 6 - mostly solid but didn’t really get forward much Inniss: 8 - a rock in defence, we need to use him better at corners and free kicks Famewo: 8 - mostly solid Gunter: 5 - average defending and woeful in attack Dobson: 6.5 - played well first half, went missing second Clare: 4 - invisible for most of the game and added nothing when he had the ball, doesn’t seem a great signing DJ: 6.5 - why were we playing it to his head? Struggled all game. Morgan: 8 MOM - worked hard and was at the centre of most of what was positive which wasn’t much. Needs to improve his accuracy with dead balls and his shooting. Had one shot on target which he kept down well and one at the death he skied into car park Washington: 8 - worked hard in attack and defence but needs to be closer to Stockley for the knock downs. One good link up led to the shot that was saved first half. Stockley: 7.5 - got lots of flick ons but doesn’t seem to use them to find colleagues. Cheap booking and lots of silly fouls Davison: 7.5 - worked really hard, seems a tad slow and had no chances to score Referee: 1 - terrible (bar the pen) , fell for all the Oxford play acting and time wasting
Watson: n/a 4 - jeez, he’s slow. Clayden n/a 7 - looked lively when he came on, would have liked to have seen more of him
