I was thinking of buying Metro tickets on the day from Newcastle Central Station to Stadium of Light.
What's best, the above or train to and from Sunderland.
I'm a bit concerned about catching the 18.29.
If we do go it'll be a long drive with three of us in the car as I don't think we'll spend £543 on fuel.
And they want people to use public transport. 🙄
If your planning a pre-match pint in Sunderland you are better off heading to Sunderland station.
You convinced me. I've booked Newcastle to Sunderland returns as well.
Thanks Clive.
Bung in a two together or other railcards and it might come in under £50 each!
Not bad really.
Booked.
Further to @clive initial post, splittraintickets list these prices.
I have not looked at the LNER site for updates. These prices are KX to Sunderland return.
Going to trainline.com or a train company site is like accepting the first house insurance quote you are given and assuming there isn't anything cheaper!
Just a thought...Is there any chance this one might be an early kick off /changed to the Sunday for Sky & if unknown at this time, any idea how soon we might know ?
Thanks, guys.
Cheers will look into further, any one else used split train tickets website before as well?
Edit - but I'm wrong see killerandflash'spost below.
