    Really nice half of football. Lots of fringe players making a good case for a first team start

    Quality 45 mins. Entertaining first half from Charlton. Solid at the back, the midfielders are picking it up, turning immediately, and driving forwards. Forwards have been effective. Three nil up and could have been more with a touch of luck.

    Not sure how much resistance Crawley are offering but there's been some lovely stuff from us so far. Good to see a few players staking a claim for more league action in one of these pointless cup matches for a change, rather than just going through the motions as we saw vs AFC Wimbledon.

    At the game, no idea why, but very enjoyable so far. Crawley left back is getting murdered. Lee looks good, Davison, and B-Taylor doing well. Feel a bit sorry for the Roddy lad, looks a bit out of his depth, maybe he’ll improve 2nd half. Clare and Dobson doing well but blimey Crawley look poor. Should be 5-0

    Ashley Nadesan is a good lad for Crawley, played against him in some friendlies as a kid. (He was 15/16 and we were 23/24 - he was better than most of us)

    Much better performance by our second team than the last cup match. Some great moves.
    CBT looks like he might be good coming on in the last 20 for DJ and Clare the same for Lee.
    Lee looks like the attacking link midfielder we have missed and should walk into the team. Deji is a class player in the making. The rest, apart from Roddy and Clayden who is a bit raw, should be decent squad players once they have settled in, but not first choice.

    Actually we did, it was the season we won the play-off final. Much rather win that the Pizza Final.

    I know it's only Crawley but how good is it to watch us with ambition to drive forward. Lee is going to be the missing link I think. You can just see he is all about linking the midfield and attack

    No negatives from me tonight I will leave that to others:

    Good to see Dobson, Blackett-Taylor, Davidson, Barker, Deji, Clare all totally on it tonight. Clayden is lively but just needs some composure.

    Elliott Lee showing he will be a great addition to the Starting 11.

    3 cracking goals and Clare and Clayden should have made it 5.
