England just beat North Macedonia  8-0 in a ridiculously one sided match, which should have been 18. England had 48 shots and 81% possession

There's a huge gulf between the top countries and the smaller nations, far more so than in mens football.

France, Spain and Norway all won 10-0. Austria won 8-1, Denmark won 7-0.

Am sure the gap will close the longer that Womens Football continues to rise in the Sport - No doubt the mens game would have been pretty similar at one stage.

Doesn’t really help either team, Latvia as getting smashed isn’t something to inspire to, and England need decent games before the Euros.
