21 September 1985, presumably celebrating one of the last goals at the Valley.

I’m confused too. Is it meant to read 1985?ParkinsonOut said:September 1992 we weren’t playing at The Valley4 -
I’ve spotted Jimmy Savile, one of the chuckle brothers next to him and Lyle Taylor in front of them, also Rose west as well.

Clearly says 1985

Definitely 1985....
I would normally have been there, but ended up in the Jimmy Seed. In the previous games that season, you could swing a cat on that terrace (albeit a small cat)..0 -
Bloke on the fence in glasses, just above the L in local looks familier.0

Looks pretty crowded and a large Police presence. Don’t remember that corner terrace being that packed very often.0

Kenny Everett in the middle just behind the person with a bucket on their head . Jiminy Cricket is on the top right who’s next to Johnny Robinson.0 -
That’s not a bucket, it’s a funeral directors hat that my cousin made for the day.Bedsaddick said:

Yep, I'm there. Far right hand side, half way up, half turned, smiling and wearing a short sleeve shirt and a sleeveless jumper, which was known back then as a tank top. I would have been 31 years old. God, doesn't time fly!
On that day, most of the Covered End had de-camped to the terrace between the Old Stand and the Covered End. It was always going to end in a pitch invasion, hence why the terrace was packed and why the police were there. At the final whistle, the police didn't stand a chance of preventing it, and gave up within a couple of minutes.0 -
we've always had some very 'interesting' looking fans there's no doubt about that0

I would have been sitting in a jubilee club leather cinema seat in the ‘west’ stand0
