  • Cracker for Chesterfield there.
    Great finish.

  • I stand to be corrected here but I think young Deji is going to be very disappointed if we are fortunate enough to draw one of the big boys in the 3rd round.

As he was booked in both the Havant & Gateshead games I think he is now banned for the 3rd round.
  • Kidderminster winning 2-0 at home over Halifax. If they hold on, they’ll be the lowest ranked team to be guaranteed a place in the third round.

St Albans (also a tier 6 side) could join them tomorrow with a win.
Both are Conference North / South level as well... ITS ON!! ;)

Yes you're right, 2 cards = 1 match ban in the cup.

So he’d be available for the 4th round in that case
  • Think we are number 57.

Would love to see one of the big boys away and an army of Addicks making all of the noise with our 15/20% allocation or whatever it is nowadays.

11,000 at Old Trafford, 9,000 at the Emirates, 8,000 at Anfield..

went to old trafford and anfield, don't remember us playing at the emirates in the cup  - spurs away would be great - or arsenal or even west ham
  • Spurs or United away or The Nigel's or Millwall at home please.

Wouldn't rate our chances against any of that lot unless you mean Hartlepool United.

I’m thinking more for the day out  - March 1994 revisited

Would prefer a big team at home, sell out the valley with diehards and a smuttering of glory hunters!

Premier league glory days back at the valley and hope for a crowd inspired upset!
Same for me.  It’s been an age since we had a big Prem team at home.  06/07 season was our last in the Prem, and we haven’t had anyone big in the cup at home since we went down.

Failing that, someone beatable at home
  • If the choice were West Ham away or Leyton Orient away for me it would be a no brainer.
Brisbane Road all day long, nothing to do with the strength or weakness of the opposition.
  • West Ham under the lights at the Valley on a Friday evening. Purely selfishly though, Harrogate Town away…
  • London Premier League team at home please

Or a Surrey Premier League team could be fun.
  • We will end up with a league one team. I'm going for Wimbledon at home.
  • It’ll be Mansfield away.
  • It'll be one of the top 6 in League 1, or a no mark Championship team, away

  • Palace away please
  • If we got drawn v Chelsea U21 in the Papa John's we would ha e about 1200 turn up I would guess.

If we got drawn v Chelsea in the FA Cup, we might get a full house, and they will just play their U21 team plus 3/4 fringe players anyway.

Give me Sutton/St Albans any day!

  • Everton away. Would love to go back there before they knock it down.
Good shout, in terms of classic grounds on the way out
  • Will the spanners get a game outside London?
  • Yes Cardiff, Leeds or Birmingham.
  • Will the spanners get a game outside London?
And will anyone give a f*ck?
  • Preferably Spurs/Arsenal away or Man Utd/City/Liverpool at home
Failing that, I'd be happy with anyone at home. I'd love to see a cup run
  • Spanners away
  • at least this year we can watch knowing we'll get someone, and not have to watch and say 'f**k we would've had XYZ'
