Actually the word should be 'scrapist' and 'scrapee' for his/her apprentice,😄
  • When people donate scrapbooks like this we ask the family to put a note in them telling us the name of the person and some background as that puts the donation into some context and ads so much to the story.

As fellow trustee @cafc999 has already said, the museum would love to have it.

River Ale House guy is a good call on the creator @charltonnick

Excellent work by the 'scrapee' and museum.

I can say now that the museum can definitely have my scrapbooks when I'm gone.  Maybe sooner - I shall think about that.

I gave my scrapbooks to the museum. It seemed a shame to leave them in the loft not being looked at. Better off in the museum.

  • I remember the Bristol R New Years game as it was double the normal crowd 5k to 11k & Rovers were top.
Someone named Howell or something similar scored a hat trick in Brighton's 0-4 win.
The 3-3 at home to Shrewsbury was our first ever Sunday game due to the 3 day week/power strikes/whatever they were called.
Played Sunday lunch time/late morning as no floodlights were available.
My dad bought me a S/T that year and I've had one ever since.

I think that’s called “child cruelty”.

    My favourite ever Charlton kit

I absolutely love the badge like that.

When we brought out the third kit this season I was hoping that we were going to go back to a permanent lack of concentric circles.

It looks so much more classy to have just the sword. By all means write CAFC or Charlton Athletic underneath.
It also looks good with a lion impaled on the sword.
  • I like the Jimmy Seed newspaper clipping
