It was 831 I think and if I remember rightly you were moaning about it.,😉golfaddick said:Has anyone thought about the repercussions to all this ??
More traffic, nowhere to park, long queues to get in, cant get served at half time etc etc.
Give me 987 hardy souls v Bradford in the Simod cup anyday.

Just took advantage of this offer, what's not to like? Great gesture from the club after the cock ups earlier in the season with early bird "benefits". Should be a good game as Plymouth are on fire at the moment. COYA3

2007. We lost and they brought at least a couple of thousand. Was their first trip to the Valley in over 25 years back then. New ground syndrome.Chris_from_Sidcup said:
Remember a night game in the championship a few years back when they were going well, had Ebanks-Blake and Barry Hayles up front, they pretty much sold out the away end which for that distance on a Tuesday night was very impressive even if a few would've been London based.shirty5 said:

All blocks are open, including those normally closed, so I assume there will be no mask wearing spaces available.
If Plymouth manage to sell out - they are still not on general sale from Home Park - then the current crowd would be 23,164.

It's been a nice gesture from TS.
I'm just hoping for the return fixture on the 18th of December TS announces free train travel in the next week.5 -

I remember Plymouth brought 3k here in 2018 and made out like it was their cup final.
We beat them 2 nil that day and it was Bowyers first game as manager.5 -
"It makes you wonder now much money they will be losing by giving away a rather large amount of free tickets- their Chairman must have rather large deep pockets"
Not sure this sharp character realises it won't cost us anything. Ok some more match day staff will have to be paid for but i'm pretty sure that will be more than covered by money we'll make from an extra 12-13k fans buying food, drink etc, possibly spending money in the club shop. Fans who almost certainly wouldn't have been there otherwise.2 -

Are the food kiosks, bars and club shop still franchised out or they now back under the control of the football club?Chris_from_Sidcup said:"It makes you wonder now much money they will be losing by giving away a rather large amount of free tickets- their Chairman must have rather large deep pockets"

I'm an exiled Charlton fan based in Exeter but a Plymouth ST holder (also exiled in Exeter but just up the road of course) whom I saw in town said that the 2.5k away allocation at The Valley had sold out and that Argyle were looking for more,0

Outsourced, but we'll still get a % on the day.shirty5 said:

God forbid its someone's day to redeem their early bird discount voucher - they'll have no chance of coping with that as wellshine166 said:

Didn’t realise that you had to apply for free tickets by tonight, apparently now extended until 5pm tomorrow.
So get in quick if you haven’t done it yet.0 -

I might be the odd one out Red.Redmidland said:I, for one, genuinely hope TS gets his wish to see a FULL Valley. Others, elsewhere, are digging him out for it, I just don't get it!!
Some people have an agenda against TS, my hope is we fill The Valley on Saturday and lots of people who come for free see a great game, experience a rocking atmosphere, see Charlton win, and then come back!
If we want to help TS get his dream of PL football, which we ALL want, now is the time to stand up and help and support him, not still be asking him to get out....it's fucking madness!
I know the club needs the premiership but me personally I dont.
I might even bail out if we make the Premiership.2
