Good game so far and we are much better than them. A bit sloppy on occasion but Dobson and Purrington have both done well. Need to take our chances though. Get Burstow on to get among them.0

The Hoover and Gilbey have been outstanding in midfield, Washy lively up front and took his goal well.
It was a soft penalty conceded by Gunter (truly Pearce's replacement in that respect) but, however sloppy our play may have been (especially compared to Saturday), it was Morecambe's only attempt at goal that half.
I'd leave DJ on the pitch for the first 15 minutes of the second half and then bring on CBT to give a tiring left back something else to think about.
Burstow may fancy his chances as well, so bring him on for a decent spell later in place of Davison; it would give Mason a bit more first team experience and give Josh a bit of a breather ahead of another tough game next weekend.
Looking forward to another goal (or two) for us in the second half.0 -
It looked like DJ got stamped on the foot but we need creativity out there. Maybe when a CB is back, then Clare could play RWB for a game for freshness.0

I know I'm seen as a negative Nancy & I agree I post more negative posts than positive ones but jeez, this is a poor game. Far too many misplaced passes & bad crosses (mainly by DJ). Maybe Saturday took it out of them but its the same for both teams. Compare Stockton to Davison & its chalk & cheese. Stockton is causing our defenders all sorts of problems & Davison might as well not be on the pitch.
But it's ok as I wont post during the 2nd half. Don't want to piss off @Lordflashheart do I......1 -
Lee has been atrocious and DJ has completely lost his way after a really bright start.
Davison needs to be stronger at holding the ball for runners from the midfield.
No reason why there shouldn't be more goals in this for us.1 -
