I'm so so sorry to hear of the diagnosis mate. Get all the crying out of your system brother and launch yourself into the treatment. I'm a huge believer in the power of sensible positive energy and you strike me as the type to be a energyball of that. For what its worth you have my best wishes and positive thoughts. There is no way we can leave @AFKABartram to do the Christmas movies6

Rooting for you, Beds!
Take heart from Wilko Johnson, guitarist with Dr Feelgood. Diagnosed with late stage pancreatic cancer in 2012 ...... and still playing today!
Wishing you all the best, mate!

Beds, you can beat this.
You will find some inner strength to get you through but remember you can cry, scream and call life shit but you then fight like fuck to kick the bastard illness into the ether.
Please accept my guardian angel on loan, (until your better) I can't promise he's Conor Gallagher but he's no Matt Smith and he works 24/7 including weekends.
Good luck and feel the love and positive thoughts from the Charlton life family who care.

Thoughts are with you mate and, as Oggy Red mentioned above, Wilko Johnson is still with us today and he is treated by the team at Addenbrookes who are amongst the best in the world.2

Sat here in bed with the wife worrying about the world going to ruin and just saw your post. What utter shite news. Wife is going through the wringer today as her nephew signed up to the Swedish forces yesterday and her dad is ill in hospital tonight. He collapsed twice yesterday and went home from A&E and was found collapsed on the floor again today. Me and the wife have been planning to move to Sweden for a while, to look after him in his older years, but were expecting it to be later in the year, or next year. Now looks like it'll be very soon. Life has a habit of making plans for us that we'd rather not have received.
I know it might sound inappropriate Beds but if there's anything on your bucket list that you'd like to do, get it done. If it's anything you might need some help organising post it here, somebody is bound to know a route to getting it arranged.
Most of all, as others have said, we're all by your side every step of this unwanted journey.10 -

At the moment you will be scared of the unknown (we all would be). But what you do know, is that you will have some incredibly talented people looking after your well-being. True experts, who deal with this condition every day of their working lives. Put yourself in their hands, trust them and follow their guidance. Together with family & friends, the medical experts will get you through. It's what they do, time and time again.
Best wishes to you mate.
