Did I just spot a Toblerone shaped stand behind the goal??
I think the idea is so you can see the skyline of the city from the rest of the stadium, does look odd though. They design a lot of stadiums over there to get the city backdrop.

I have been there it’s a fantastic stadium

I only just realised tonight that Trossard isn’t French 🤣
I've been surprised most games of who plays for who.
Gyokeres and Isaak both Swedish, I never knew.

Looks it. My brother-in-law and wife’s family are all huge Seattle fans. He took his wife there on their honeymoon 😅.

Mind you, we did the same and went to Chicago for part of ours and sat at the top of Soldier Field. Amazing and great views. But very cold.

My brother in-law did the similar, but at Kenilworth Road. After they had a beer and a burger at the White House in town.

Their manager turned to him and said, I need someone like you.

Also Belgium deserve to lose for the baseball cap and tie combo on their manager.

This is the year we win it. While everyone is moaning about hydration breaks and half time shows, we'll do the business and the rest of the world will try to give it an asterisk.

I got in touch with the guest house owners where we stayed a few years back in Cape Verde to congratulate them.

Their reply included this lovely wisdom:

They made the mistake of giving us only a 1% chance against Spain, but we are a people who know how to turn 1% into 99% hope. Never underestimate the spirit of Cape Verde! 😄🇨🇻

Great goal by Egypt, from the wrong angle the scorer looked like Lyle T*****, frightening.
Well it couldn't have been the snake as he was playing golf at Sundridge Park this afternoon.

Tonight's 11pm match will be the 15th of the tournament so far.  After the Belgium game we've had 40 goals. 5 tonight and it will be 3 goals per game.

Spain have a lot to answer for.

I never understand how a defender blatantly shoving a striker in the back when they shoot is not a foul.

Other way round and the defender gets the decision 100% of the time.
Oh stop, it’s a bit of strength and a shoulder. Proper defending.
Even Godden is through on the millwall goal in the 95th minute in a nil-nil only for a spanner defender to give him a little nudge and he falls over just as hes about to shoot?
