I know he's not done loads in the first half but Bournemouth aren't keeping Rayan for long.
Probably not but that’s their entire business model anyway.

Hakimi must be one of the most attacking right backs ever

Why can’t Haiti finish above Scotland? It’s GD before head to head result isn’t it? Current GD can easily be overturned.

No head to head first. Which is why a few teams are already out even though they can get equal points and have a better goal difference than a 3rd place team.

Doesn't count when double-deflected goals are involved.

    Scotland OUT.

Based on the graphic the BBC showed pre match, at 2-0 the jocks have a 66% chance of going through. 3-0 it goes down to 49%. 4-0 or worse and they're in deep shit.

Can't see them keeping a clean sheet in the second half. Can they keep the score down?

Brazil doing their best NOT to score.

    Edit.

But not for long.  3-0  Brazil.

    I hope Scotland get spanked.

Dismal performance by Scotland. Ghana showed yesterday how you park the bus and make things hard for better opponents,  but Scotland have been awful at the back, giving up so many chances.

Isn't it amazing how needing to score makes it a better game.

I think Clarkes only good result in tournament football during his time in charge of Scotland was beating England 0-0 in Euro 2020.

This is a handy tool on the BBC website, running updates on the knockout fixtures as things stand: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/world-cup/schedule#KnockoutStage

Scotland play Mexico in the last 32 and then England in the last 16. Realistically, that's as likely as Charlton playing PSG in the 2029 Champions League Final.

3-0 flattered Scotland, should have been five if Brazil had got out of second gear.

I'd be happy for Scotland to go through,  but they're not one of the best 32 teams here.

Unprofessional by Clarke to storm out of that interview.

Scotland win the “How to shoot yourselves in the foot” award. If they get through after that.

I expected more from South Korea. They’ve been poor both times watched them this tournament. Lots of running but no end product.

Impressive from South Africa, I thought they’d finish bottom of the group.

Well done South Africa, unexpected result gets them the last 32 match against Canada.

Great win for South Africa and a big surprise, always nice to see shocks like this and country’s go through that haven’t before.

The logic is that if two teams are tied then whoever won when they faced each other deserves to be placed higher. It makes sense but it feels weird because we're so used to it being done on GD.

And a terrible result for Scotland. A South Korea win or draw would've meant that group was one third placed side Scotland would finish above. But Korea end up third with 3 points and a -1 GD so are above Scotland in the rankings.
