I have purchased train tickets going up via Leeds and back via Preston. Do you think Clive , they would let me use the Leeds up ticket on the Preston route ? Thanks for any help you can offer
Differing train companies says no, I'd hope common sense can be used.

LNER have not arranged ticket acceptance with Avanti, so no, but you can use your ticket on CrossCountry, Northern, ScotRail and Transpennine Express to allow you to complete your journey. Trains dep Kings Cross at 07.06 & 08.00/ 09.06 to York & there are direct services to Accrington via Leeds departing at 10.23/11.23/12.22 journey time about 1hr 48 minutes. I hope this will be ok for you.

So hopefully Avanti will use some common sense tomorrow. Originally I was on the 7.30 from Euston which is not running I then re booked a ticket from Milton Keynes to Manchester train leaves Milton Keynes at 8.06 but that’s now cancelled. Hopefully I will be able to get the 8.13 from MK to Preston but I do not see why i should now pay £60 when according to Avanti I can use the train before or after. So the train after would be 7.43 from Euston which goes to Preston and now stops at MK wish me luck tomorrow

I going to see if I can get the 8.13 but I do not see why I should pay £60 . See what the refund departments come up with. Hopefully common sense will prevail
