  • It says it all that Rashford's achievements this season, with 30 goals so far and capable of hitting the 40 plus mark for club and country, has been somewhat overshadowed by Haaland.

For those wondering what happened at Bryne, he apparently started life as a winger. And he was only 15 years old when he made his debut.
  • So the prem league is less competitive than the other leagues …

  • I guess his goals per game average.

    Or he's improving with age

  • Surely it's a reflection of the fact he now plays for one of the best teams in the world who dominate possession in almost every game they play and create a lot of chances?

I don't think anyone can argue the PL isn't competitive when Liverpool are 8th, Chelsea are 11th and 8-9 teams are in a relegation battle with 9 games left.
To digress. That’s why it’s an injustice that Darren Bent didn’t make it to the World Cup when with us at the expense of Walcott.

To score for us so freely with far less service was remarkable.
  • absolute monster (both physically and ability wise) playing in a superb team under a man manager who is a master in the motivation and organisation of footballers .. even at the price they paid, Citteeeh have got a once in a generation bargain
Criminal for Haaland if City do not win something after his efforts.
  • Would cream my pants if city win nothing.

there's always the next few seasons .. BUT .. are a few Cittee players near the end of their peak form and ability ? .. as ever, we will see

That's the thing though, even if (for arguments sake) De Bruyne is approaching the end of his career, the likes of Foden and Grealish are coming onto their prime years. Any other club losing a defender like Kompany would have been a blow, City just bring in Dias.

Does the infinite budget help? Of course. But Pep Guardiola is a master (maybe THE master now) of signing already good/great players and making them even better, or fitting them into a system that plays to collective strengths.

Think the Norway record is actually the most impressive at this stage.

Negativity sells on Social Media... He probably doesnt even believe what he's saying

He's been made to look a laughing stock with that comment, because its plastered all over twitter

Good few people will go and see who he and the others are, find other videos they've come out with to see if they've made idiots of themselves before

If he is a YouTuber like Thogden (the guy with his hands over his face), then he's gonna get views from this, which'll make him money

Notice we're not seeing too many videos of people saying that Haaland was gonna rip up this league for example

Exactly, it's how Talksport get their listeners.

He is a youtuber yes (Rory Jennings is his name) and actually quite a popular one to be fair. Has almost 250k subscribers, and a video he posted yesterday has 120k views in less than 24 hours.

Seems like he also posted an 'apology' video to Haaland after his prediction turned out to be one of the worst ever and that got over 300k views, so he's definitely doing ok out of it.

Nice way to make a career now, if you can find the right niche
