Inniss: 4.5 - Cambridge were (doubtless on instructions) very happy for him to have the ball and his unsuccessful foray upfield led to their equaliser. Just as well the ref and his linos didn’t spot his unprovoked assault on the Cambridge midfielder. Less teams are playing aerially these days and I much prefer Lavelle O'Connell: 6.5 - solid Clayden: 6 - showed his inexperience on occasions but a tenacious and pacy player Morgan: 6 - his quietest game of the season Dobson: 7 - his covering, tackles and interceptions were important when Cambridge took control in the second half Fraser: 7.5: MOTM - by far our best player in the first half. Some have commented about him being slow to release the ball, but I think part of the problem yesterday was that his two midfield partners were often too far away for the simple pass.
