    Murray now on court for his second round match against the American wildcard. Nice of them to schedule him on Arthur Ashe.

    Nava won the first set 7-5.

    Murray had 7 break points in the first set and could only convert once. Nava converted 2 out of 3.

    Won the third set 6-1 and has broken again in the fourth.

    Nava fought well in the first set but it seems to have been all one way traffic since. Murray has won 12 of the last 14 games.

    Murray wins 5-7 6-3 6-1 6-0. He’s in the 3rd round of the US Open for the first time since 2016.

    He’ll play the winner of Grenier and Berrettini. Currently two sets to one in Berrettini’s favour. On serve in the fourth set.

    Galfi wins the first set 6-4 against Dart. She'll need to do a tennis golfie.

    Unfortunately all gone pear shaped for Harriet Dart. She’s down 6-4 5-0 and her opponent will serve for the match shortly.

    Berrettini wins in four sets and will play Murray in round three. 2-6 6-1 7-6 7-6

    Dart unfortunately lost 6-4 6-0. That ends the Brit involvement in the women’s draw.

    Thought that might open the draw up a little for him but nope, Khachanov, Carreno Busta, Medvedev are his potential next 3!

    If Murray could upset Berrettini, he’d have a fantastic opportunity at a quarter final. Potentially even a semi final.

    He can undoubtedly win games but it's whether his fitness holds up.
