  • Brings back bad memories of that Wycombe game...
  • Southampton are an absolute mess
Out. Since their interim manager was given the job until the end of the season, they've lost to Leeds and Grimsby
  • Macauley Weghorst desperate to claim a goal
  • Casemiro is an absolutely outstanding footballer.
  • Sheff Utd just gone one up
  • Goalnacho isn't bad either.

Didn't someone say he was shit and if he played we would beat United...

Quarter final draw taking place after Sheff Utd v Spurs concludes.

    1 Grimsby Town

2 Blackburn Rovers (this would've been Charlton's number... Stockport -> Walsall -> Leicester -> Blackburn)

    3 Brighton

4 Sheffield United or Tottenham Hotspur

    5 Fulham

    6 Manchester City

    7 Manchester United

    8 Burnley

    8 Burnley

That has to be one of the weakest final eight in FA Cup history.

It's got 4 of the top 8 teams in the premier league in it.

Grimsby aren't only the lowest placed team in it they are the lowest placed team in their league in it.

Probably right, since we were in the quarters in 2014.

That draw had Arsenal, Man City, Everton, Hull, Sunderland, Wigan, Charlton and Sheff Utd.
  • Too many Spurs managers just don't get it. You need to win trophies, it's not just about the top 4
  • Would love a Manchester Derby for one of the  quarter finals. Get one of them out

No it hasn't its got two, Man City & Man Utd
  • The top two of the Championship are in the last 8 also

  • Grimsby will be disappointed at being away to Brighton

    & Blackburn are 4th

Grimsby are the big outliers in this draw

    PL 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 8th
    Champ 1st, 2nd, 4th
    L2 16th
  • City and United heading towards the final
  • edited March 2023
    #1 Man City v Burnley
    #2 Man Utd v Fulham
    #3 Brighton v Grimsby
    #4 Sheff Utd v Blackburn
  • Looks like four home wins with Man U and man c avoiding each other in the semis
  • #1 Man City v Burnley
    #2 Man Utd v Fulham
    #3 Brighton v Grimsby
    #4 Sheff Utd v Blackburn
Pretty crap draw considering the teams left in it

It would be a surprise if all 4 home teams don't progress, a massive shock if the first 3 don't.

City vs United would be a humdinger of course, but Brighton vs Fulham would have been interesting or even the first two ties with the Manchester clubs away would have been better.

Grimsby at home to a PL side would have been nice too.
  • Man U drawn at home for the 452nd cup game running (or so it seems).

Not the tie Grimsby would've wanted, a long old journey for them but at least the game will be on tv so they'll get more money. Amazing effort from them to reach the quarters.
  • Too many Spurs managers just don't get it. You need to win trophies, it's not just about the top 4
    This.  So utterly predictable...

And we leave the best CB at the club by a country mile, who won the WC, on the bench.  The mind just boggles.
  • @JohnBoyUK - Can’t be complaining, you’ve got a new karting track to enjoy for next 15 years. Think of all the money that Levy will make because of it.
