Nominated for one game is a bit shit in my opinion
18 goals and assists in 31 matches (19 goals and assists in 31 the season before). It was one outstanding match, but he’s been a consistent performer at a high level for a while now.
Edit - I don’t think he’s anywhere near the best player in the world, but about a million players have been nominated so he deserves to be on the list IMO.

Not sure where you got those stats from but he played 45 games last season.
From what i can see he got 17 goals and 10 assists.

Above people like Mo Salah, Rodrygo? No doubt Lookman's had a good season but without that final performance he wouldn't be on the list

So 27 Goals and Assists, that's even more impressive.
Great transfer business from Everton to let him go so easily and then use the money to part fund deals for an ageing Walcott and the useless version of Dele Alli.
They should introduce a new rule for next year, don't turn up to the ceremony (without an extremely valid reason) then you're disqualified from winning anything.
Would Mbappe and Acelloti be so keen to put out stupid social media statements and stay in home for the night if they new it would mean they'd be stripped of their awards?
I really hope he gets a huge January move. It would be a fairytale for a really likeable player and apparently the club would be due a small percentage of the fee for developing him (as would Waterloo who we signed him from).

No one from Real Madrid is attending as Vini hasn’t won.
No idea if that’s true but it’s all over Twitter.
Vini has been excellent, but boycotting the ceremony cos you haven't won is very petty. I don't expect anything else from Madrid unfortunately

Rodri deserves it more though, would be a good choice.
