Hopefully this will hasten the end of the accepted wisdom that fast bowlers have to bowl at the end. Yadav was struggling against the spinners. Who would he rather have faced? Easy answer.

Yes, it's always struck me as weird when in games you have a spinner who'd completely on top in the 12-17 overs period, yet doesn't get to bowl his 4th over because it's time to bring the quicks back.
Teams are so programmed these days with plans for every batter and every period of the game, that captains seem afraid to use their instinct and indeed eyes.
Forecast for Sunday looks shit in Melbourne , is there an extra day if Sunday is washed out ?
A reserve day will be triggered if at least 10 overs per side aren't possible. Only when the match fails to complete a 10-over-a-side, the game would be pushed to the reserve day. If teams cross the 10-over mark and then rain hampered the game, then the result will be decided on the very same day on the basis of the D/L method and will not be played on the next day.

Played in the first stage v Namibia. Got a duck.
NZ won the toss and elected to bat and are 23-1 off 4. Allen the one to go.
49-3 off 8
Big last over with NZ on 144-4. Somewhere near 160 will be decent.
NZ finish on 152-4
was then glad I didn't, only for the Saffers to do what they always do.
26 from 24
But hang on maybe a no ball on height. Nope, fair delivery and a wicket to boot.
And another. Four followed by a huge six.
