    Another legend goes.

    RIP

  • I drove him to & from a film set for a week, around 16 years ago.
    A real gentleman.
Do remember the assistant director telling me he was an inveterate scene stealer.
                   Ding dong!                     RIP Leslie
  • Sleep tight, Leslie.
  • I'm a great Carry On fan and although he only appeared in three of the early ones (plus the awful |Columbus), he'll always be associated with the films. Always enjoyed his performances whatever the role. RIP Leslie.

Only Jim Dale still alive from the Carry on Regulars.

There’ll never be a series of films with so many great comedy actors again. Have watched them all countless times but I still laugh out load at the one liners. Even the character names like Gladstone Screwer, Dr Nookey and Sir Sidney Ruff-Diamond crack me up.
  • Legend. RIP

There will be a "ding dong" ringing around heaven.  Loved him a real 50's British icon.  RIP
